Yeah, "nice" is a good word. And she is very artistic. Different "masks" all the time. For me she was a real discovery.dark water wrote: Sun Jun 26, 2022 5:47 pmlobanov wrote: Sun Jun 26, 2022 5:23 pm Aldous Harding, "Designer" (2019)

I buy plenty but it doesn't sound like any of the shit you idiots have posted.vurt wrote: Sun Jun 19, 2022 12:14 pm im shocked by this not hitting 10 pagesdoes no one buy new music anymore?
Those days are long gone. There aren't any record shops any more and clubs only play mainstream shite. There is nowhere you can go to find new music any more, except on line. Bandcamp has been a great source for me, along with Discogs.im not in the city, hanging about in record shops and bars to hear new stuff as much!! and im old, id hoped some more city dwellers and young folk would be feeding us older small town folk with new culture
This is more like it! If you like this, you might also like 2nd Face - https://2ndface.bandcamp.com/album/nemesisT-CM11 wrote: Sat Jun 25, 2022 8:37 am Mildreda – I Was Never Really There (2021)

I would be extremey happy to discover more new music like the stuff I posted. Extremely happy. Most of my current wells have run dry.vurt wrote: Mon Jun 27, 2022 11:25 ami don't want it to sound like what ive posted, or it wouldn't be "new" to me, would it?
I think the OP set the parameters. I wasn't going to bother posting anything until a few other people offered stuff that was nothing like the OP's picks.my point was i expected all kinds of different music, as we do all have individual tastes.
yes, they did. This is what the parameters were:
And so, are there any exceptional and recent albums (past 5 years or so) that you often have on repeat?
The f**king clue is in the f**king subject.BONES wrote: Tue Jun 28, 2022 10:10 am And how daft are you that the YT videos he linked to after he wrote that didn't give you some f**king clue as to what sort of music he might be into? Or is a YouTube video or three a little too subtle for you?
I'll repeat that again since you're incapable of parsing anything which doesnt have BONES at the centre of the universe. Are there any great albums (iyo) from the past 5 years that you play on regular repeat?
iyo = IN YOUR OPINIONAre there any great albums (iyo) from the past 5 years that you play on regular repeat?
i took the in your opinion to mean, my opinion. as in what i like, not what fits the ops videos. as very few of any posted since have been the same sort of stuff (if any) i think everyone else understood it that way too.BONES wrote: Tue Jun 28, 2022 10:10 am And how daft are you that the YT videos he linked to after he wrote that didn't give you some f**king clue as to what sort of music he might be into? No, it's not at all. It's the broad brush of the subject, the clue isin the detail of the post, somethign youfucking well know as well as anyone, as that was where your first pathetic effort went. Now you're just digging a deeper hole.
Only if you ignore the totality of the original, topic-defining post. As with most things, context is essential because any moron woudlunderstand that we all have different tastes and becaus ethis particular person was looknig for new music for himself, it stands to reason that he'd be lookng for music that he likes, not any f**king piece of shite any particular member might like. But, of course, the average self-centred cock-jaw around here wouldn't take a moment to think about what someone els emight like, he'd be too busy rushing headlong to push his or her favourite thing of the moment. In other words, the OP very clearly presented himself as being open to suggestions based on people's own preferences, not necessarily his suggestions.
