Can RC already do what MM does?

Yes, MM is part of RC v4.4 (there is a new MIDI Mutator tab in the full edition only).
v4.4 is already available.

Any suggestions on why the locking notes are not working on the VST version, I'm guessing you saw the video the way that the grey screen pops up when I open it

Just download the update for vst here all the problems am getting. its now showing up like a fx not a vst and you cant lock or move notes

I am mainly interested in what sort of results you get from it, after giving some standard inputs like arps, basslines etc.

A video would be the best way to show this because a lot of people dont have time to install a demo and play with it (i.e. 1000's of youtube videos).

Any light you can shed is most welcome.

Yea, I am also trying to do a video, but, having issues because of bugs.. So, I am holding off till things are fixed.

There are issues with locking and unlocking notes (notes re-locking on re-generation after being unlocked), there is an issue with favorites resetting and unable to apply changes, there is an issue when changing rhythm then unable to apply changes. There is the issue of the editor not clearing and being warned that no edit exists to apply, when there are notes visible.

So, at this point, I am just looking for more bugs. Or, I could do a video high-lighting the bugs..

yea, just to be clear, he does know about these.. He is very busy at the moment and this stuff will be fixed. As it is, I can get ok results with what I have to work with, so, maybe I can do it anyways..

Yes I'm with you on that one blu Genes.

Because there's quite a few bugs you're not going to get the real potential of this vst until they are fixed.

But I'm happy to do a video for you.

I've been asking for this feature for a long time now so it gives me the results that I was looking for but basically lf you've already got an initial midi file that you like the pattern of and you want to get alternative variations or new ideas based on those parameters it's great for that, for me it's one of the best features on RC for getting quick results and useful results

As soon as Attila has fixed the vst version I will make a video with some of the great features I use it for

OK, I am catching up... I am sorry I did not have much time for reading the forum, I had to reply lots of e-mails, but now I am back.

I'll check and fix bugs about the MIDI Mutator. I am sure I'll have questions because I have received maybe one bug report, so it seems to work well for almost everyone, which is good.

Hello lovemusic15,

I just uploaded an update (v1.0.4). Will you please try that?
I suspect that a setting was set which forced the plug-in to open in a separate window. Probably that was the reason selecting and locking notes did not work.
I tried this update with Ableton and everything worked.
