vaguely copied the make noise maths patch from todays video, by memory after watching the video a couple of hours ago.

I’m mainly using Maths these days to sum four different LFOs and use the crazy mixed mess to modulate the Make Noise BIA or occasionally a filter.

I upgraded to Bitwig 4.3 and now I’ve got the CLAP.
Seems to work well with Diva, but they haven’t put out a version of Repro yet and that’s the one that I find flaky as a VST on my PC.

Deleted a track from the album that I'm about to release.

When I mastered it, I put in some crossfades and then re-split them into separate tracks, but I messed up and saved track 2 as both 1 and 2. Caught it in a test listen. After I fixed it, I started feeling like track 2 was a better start to the album and track 1 just didn't fit very well with the rest of it anyway. Not usually what people mean by "happy accidents" in the studio but there we go.

Dicked around with icons for a Reaper theme that still looks like primary school kids made the style decisions
Dumped a couple of hours worth of wave (as in sea) recordings from the various local bays from my recorder. Then had a moment wondering what the point was, they all sound pretty much identical, they may be documents of different locations and times but if i'm the only one who really knows that then...?

Things I want to work on…

Record and release a song, probably a cover.
Get more used to the Performer rack sequencer, claims to have MIDI out so see what I can do with that.
Play around with VCV Rack plugin to see if I can drive MIDI CC’s in to do stuff like controlling modulating things on Vult Freak passing raw ‘real’ analog oscillator audio to it. Prep for when the 16n arrives to see how many things I can drive from it.
Test out new stuff in Bitwig 4.3
