Just to make sure you didn't miss this great news. Amplitube Live + LE is out. It'll be on www.esoundz.com very soon and at IK dealers all over the world within days.
Some of you may have known about AmpliTube Live which was previously for OSX only. Well, now it is available for PC too (in the same box of course- a new box). Also, some of you may know about AmpliTube LE RTAS that comes with ProTools. Well, now the best of both world is in one product for more than just RTAS and more than just stand alone OSX! This is really good news because uh... errr.. it's CHEAP! There are 9 amp combinations and a VOX AC30 is one of them (worth the price alone in my opinion).
I know how you all like to save money around here and since this is both a plug-in AND stand alone for BOTH Mac and PC it probably makes a good gift for just about anyone (since they don't even need a host- they can just plug into a sound card and start jamming away). I think one of the other amps in there is a Marshall. You can read more about it on IK's sites. www.amplitube.com and www.ikmultimedia.com
This is GOOD news not just for guitar players. It's nice to have as a producer, writer or keyboard player because of the high quality modeling of the amps it has. Plus, it's a lot of fun. I was using it on my laptop in the airport!!!! That was awesome.

LE as in the 4 channel out, or something else?
If there is VST version for that price in the box, I am in.

Yeah! There is a VST version. What I like is that it is stand alone AND a plug-in for VST, RTAS, AU, DXi. But, it's actually cheaper than the price of the old stand along OSX-only one. So, to me this is really what people want. Nice price, great quality modeled amps, works on it's own or in your host... I figured it would be a good one to mention here in case you wanted to give a gift to someone of any age (good price for a gift too) or if you wanted to treat yourself. It even has a tuner in it! I am telling you, this is FUN! I love the full AmpliTube but I still use this (particularly when I want to just plug a guitar into my laptop and go).Mighty_Hero wrote:LE as in the 4 channel out, or something else?

The other thing I like about this price point is that it is both for guitarists (the price of a pedal? or less) but also for people who are casual guitarists too (like me). So, if you have an electric guitar but maybe you are mainly a singer or keyboardist or writer etc. then this is a must have (especially if you don't yet have any guitar amp simulation stuff in your computer).
I know I sound all salesy with it but I really just think it's cool and figured you guys would too. At least try out the demo version from www.amplitube.com and see if you like that for starters. The quality of the modeling is the SAME as the $399 AmpliTube. It is just the feature set that is different.

Not to be redundant, but will it still be $99 on your site?
Sounds like a great deal. I'm all for getting it.

The price on esoundz is pretty good on sale. I won't quote it here. Go see for yourself: http://www.esoundz.com/details/viewDeta ... r=software
Yeah, this one has a tuner. Nice eh? Also, those that have it can upgrade for a discounted to the full AmpliTube and keep this around ending up being free (one of those benefit things I always try to tell you guys about). Then you can use it as a tuner and just for the fun of it standalone- even if you end up getting the full AT upgrade.
Which amps are modeled in the AT LE? I don't know exactly but I think it may be a Vox, a Marshall and a Mesaboogie. Then you can mix between the amp elements to get 9 possible combinations (so 9 amps).
Now, one of the main differences between AT LE and the full AmpliTube is that the full has more elements which create more possible amp combinations. Over 1,200 amp combinations in fact. So, that's pretty significant. That plus more effects and some other cool special features (like amp matching and mic stuff).
But, if you think that most guitar players would LOVE to have a Vox AC30, a Marshall and a Mesaboogie all set up to instantly interchange components (plus a tuner and some other bells and whistles) then this virtal version of that at this price is pretty darn handy! Then you look at the full AmpliTube and realize just how massive it is on the modeling side of things compared to most guitar amp sim plug-ins. You can upgrade later for practically the difference in price! So, your AT LE ends up being FREE if you were ever planning on getting the full AT anyway. Same thing with SampleTank 2 LE product + the upgrade option btw. I don't know how many have figured out that nice way to get a little extra bang for the buck but... I know some of you have taken good advantage of that. Well, you can do that with AT LE too. If that helps to know.
