I can't think of a single product that has been added since K13. I saw an email about a stratocaster library today. But honestly I have no idea what they are up to.

That doesn’t mean they couldn’t hire him to do an update, or a “Absynth X.” They have companies like Softube doing effects for them, so why not?Arashi wrote: Thu Jun 30, 2022 10:36 pmThe Absynth developer (Brian Clevinger) left NI years ago, unfortunately.

I also like the NI lute from1753...
That was the best thing that they ever released..
Seriously though...
NI have some smart minds and some great ideas...
I just hope that they can get back to focusing on the main event - creating world class instruments and effects - and ease up on the BS in the advertising campaigns ..
Hire a few more coders and fire some bean counters...
And release a VST3 or CLAP version of Lute V2

I don't care about sample libraries, I have a million and I rarely use the NI ones. I'm mainly interested in new VSTi's but doubtful that we'll get much in that arena, so I probably won't be upgrading.
Hope I'm wrong though!

Yes God forbid someone post something you disagree with or their dislike of a company. Poor little snowflake, don't cry. I don't think this post will cause NI to go out of business. Unfortunately. Seriously, what's wrong with you?chk071 wrote: Thu Jun 30, 2022 9:32 pmPosts like these is why I kind of detest KVR Audio these days. Not enough that someone expresses so much hate towards a company (and ultimately their customers), no, there are also appeals to boycott them, and buy elsewhere.SLiC wrote: Thu Jun 30, 2022 9:24 pm I bloody hate NI, they stopped being innovative years ago. It’s just endless Kontakt library bloat. The last good thing they did was in 1753 when they made the Lute. They’ll probably go subscription, and I hate that. I hate them, did I mention that? Don’t waste your money. Instead you should spend your money on Arturia.
Seriously, what's wrong with you?

I seriously lost track what is their vision right now. That doesn't mean their plugins sounds worse, it's just I feel that their R&D capacities and market position was not fully put into use. Certainly no hate though, I'm really thankful for Komplete Kontrol.
Something is amiss with these colorful expansions... What is the extent you guys use them?

I hope that they'll and something like WUP so I'll have good laugh reading rage posts here
I wonder if they're able to bring anything new to the table to convince me to get K14. Was Kontakt 6 new in K13? Or did I really bought it for nothing?
Kontakt 7 rebuilded from scratch with new innovative features? That would do!
Massive XXX. Yes please!

I wonder if NI Komplete will start to include products from 'soundwide'
I would personally love to see KOMPLETE KONTROL get a major update...back to what Kore used to be!

Kontakt 7 might be interesting, but I remember when K6 came out the headline features for users were very sparse.
I'd love a substantial update to Battery myself.
Also a good thought about bundling other stuff in - pretty likely we'll see some brainworx stuff I'd say, they're appearing in iZotope bundles all over the place.
