The collection is on sale at the moment for $29 ($100 off) so I downloaded the demos and, for the life of me, I couldn't hear the saturation having any effect at all in the PreAmp or any of the other plugins. I ran through the half-a-dozen or so presets you get with each plugin and I wasn't impressed until...

... I put the Enhancer on the master channel in something I was working on. Holy cow! Even with the default settings it cleaned up the sound and gave it a real boost. After I matched the levels, the difference was still night and day. It's a really simple thing to use, only three controls plus in/out level trim, but it works really well. It's worth the $29 on its own.

Maybe I need to pump more signal in to get the saturation working but, even without it, I'm pretty happy with this purchase.

Interesting, some of their stuff is not bad imo, though I've only ever bought some guitar pedal stuff. I got the STA delay free from something or other as well.

Yep, the Enhancer is great. Is it still putting out a DC when nothing is going through?
I found the rest of them unconvincing.

I've got a few other things - Sphene Pro, Peridot Pro, Linda Rockstack and IronVerb - which is why I even bothered with the demos. Linda Rockstack is brilliant, but it does use a lot of CPU, And Sphene Pro is great with Ujam's VB-Rowdy Bass VSTi.

Got the Delay and the Pre for free a few years ago. It is subtle stuff, yet also not bad at all.

Having played with the Enhancer a bit more, I am worried it doesn't have any wet/dry control, because it doesn't know how to be subtle. Even with everything at zero, just having it on scoops a big chunk out of the mids. I still love what it's doing but I might have to learn how to set up a split in Studio One so I can mix some dry signal in with it, for a bit more control.

I like and use the STA delay and I have a lot of choices. I'll try out the enhancer, thanks for the suggestion.
