I really mis internet 1.0 when users shared their stuff without asking money. I gave away many kits, presets, midimappings, and also Hw soundbanks sold with the machine itself for free. It was a one way street without even a thanks for the ppl who downloaded it in most of the times after a few years. So I stopped doing it. Really disappointed in what it has become ( an add ridden moneygrabbing social pressure void) Sorry for ranting, and not personally directed at someone in particular, just a sad observation. I used to make skins for FL Studio back when it was possible to do so, and was told that the stuff I made was quite popular and had quite an audience.Septic Underground wrote: ↑Sat May 21, 2022 6:43 am I really mis internet 1.0 when users shared their stuff without asking money. I was ridiculed for not asking any money money for it, but thought that whatever I did to be shareware.

Yeah, if you have alot of ppl doing stuff sharing their own kits/presets/samples etc, then you got a lot for free in the end for everyone. Take for instance middimappings for a Novation Remote SL back in the day, it took a few hours to make a profile for a synth, if everybody shared their mapping, you would have a extensive database of mapped synths. Instead of everybody making one for themselves and all over the world ppl doing the same. It is a waste of time.

Hey Tal any chance you could include a single drum module version of the plugin with this product? Would be nice to have a single drum focused plugin to use with DAW Drum Racks or Maschine, with all the features of a given drum cell. I don't really want to use a separate drum kit plugin, but would be interested if it included a nice focused version for one drum hit to use in the plugins I already have.

This plugin crashes my Studio One a lot. Usually when playing a very long sample, especially when adjusting the start and end points of the sample while the sample is still playing. There's been other crashes too but the above is the most common culprit on my machine.
Studio One is a mess anyway as far as stability, but this plugin in it's current makes it way worse on my machine.

What’s the point of adding a sequencer to a plugin that you have to use within a sequencer/host?

Because such sequencers often have functionality that DAW's do not have in the piano roll/timeline. For example, each drum lane can have its own timing and length. Some DAW's have step sequencers as well. Logic Pro has an exceptional Step Sequencer (IMO), but not all DAW's have that.

I dont think I'd want a sequencer built in if it takes a bunch of time from other development. What other sampler of this sort magnitude also has a sequencer that's also robust enough to do more interesting types of stuff like you're describing?
I went on a quest for a sequencer to replace Reason Drum Sequencer and looked at a ton of 3rd party standalone sequencer plugins and wasn't able to find a suitable replacement that could easily create polyrhythms AND allowed you to add randomization for whether a specific note would play.
Seems like it's hard to find standalone sequencers that do slightly more exotic stuff, we shouldn't expect that type of functionality in already robust plugins that were not scoped for such features. And if it's a more basic sequencer that got implemented, that type of stuff can just be done in a DAW.

FXpansion Geist 2 has all the features you mention, however it falls short in other respects and appears no longer supported.
I still use Geist 1 (which works well enough in Bitwig) but it doesn't do the randomisation thing without some effort.
I'd personally love to see a plugin sequencer that was independent of the sound source which had the capabilities we are looking for. I also would not want TAL Drum to be stretched in that way - I love it as it is. Keep the sequencing seperate.
Now, if Bitwig could implement a proper step sequencer with multiple independent lanes, etc i'd be over the moon.

That was the closest, but no. I bought some bundle of their sequencers and one of them allllllmost worked. They are cool sequencers regardless.kobal wrote: ↑Fri Jul 01, 2022 10:19 am for sequencer, you didn t find what you need here? https://hy-plugins.com/
