About Aero

Aero is a plug-in suite consisting of two FREE players, Aero Stomp and Aero Amp, both available in VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX format. They represent a pioneering and innovative new project from Acustica aimed at the world of sound design and guitar.

This is the first Acqua plugin to use our revolutionary new AI-based Terra technology.
Their design and development took a long time, but this time, which we gladly spent, has been amply repaid by the incredible results achieved.

We hope AERO will enhance your approach to ITB effects, giving you entirely new tools to get the results and sound quality you're looking for thanks to our state-of-the-art sampling.

"New AI-based Terra technology." - which does what exactly, apart from giving "incredible results" and being "revolutionary"? These are still sampled according to the blurb, so what does this new thing do that's over and above the previous sampling efforts?

Confused, as if this new tech was so revolutionary, I would have thought you'd have actually mentioned what it actually does...

Confused, as if this new tech was so revolutionary, I would have thought you'd have actually mentioned what it actually does...
There are a few more details about the tech is in the Aero manual, but it's basically a new proprietary algorithm based on artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Thanks, but that doesn't answer my question though. That just re-iterates "hey there's cool new tech inside" but still gives me zero idea about what's cool about it, why it's a good marketing point, and what value it adds to the product.

I got this from the website:
Terra Technology™ represents a new technological advancement by Acustica, bringing several innovations in terms of new features integrated into a new AI-powered intelligent plugin line. This new tech features an engine optimization that introduces a new highly efficient and innovative powerful algorithm based on forensic audio analysis, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Still no clue about *what it actually does*... it just seems like a whole bunch of non-specific waffle and tech buzzwords, and tells me literally nothing solid about the benefits to the end user.

The Annunaki have been using Terra - forming - technology on this Planet since 1.250.000 B.C. and before.
You can be creative in any right place on Earth, and not only in the wealthiest cities. Bring the world feelings from everywhere, and not only feelings of capitalistic or jail environment.

Terra uses artificial intelligence to model real-world hardware very accurately, with a much faster sampling process. Also, since the process works on continuous comparisons with the real hardware, we have a mathematical way to know how far we are from the real thing and perfect our emulation to the best we can faster than before.

This is a bit different approach from our AI presets in the Acqua EQs, which have more of a "user-side" orientation, by analyzing the audio you are feeding to the plugin and making moves on the parameters.

Automated blackbox then, like TAIP and similar.
