As soon as Attila updates the bugs I will show you a walkthrough videoJiggSaw wrote: Sat Jul 02, 2022 8:51 pm Trying out the demo version and I don't have any sound. What am I doing wrong?
edit: Never mind. I figured it out but we definitely need a walkthrough video.

I think there also needs to be something to lock notes/rhythm into an octave (or limit leaps). I've been playing with the demo for a couple hours and the results I'm getting are not really "musical" if that makes sense.

Yes that's a good point what is it mainly that you're trying to achieve.
The main objective with this mutator is to import a MIDI file that you like and then get similar results or results based on the parameters of what you've inputted so for instance if you took your favourite Melody you could adjust it so it gives you variations of that Melody. If you let me know then I will try and put a little video guide together just to show you

Yeah, that is exactly what I'm trying to do. Import a midi melody and then get nice variations of that melody. So far it seems like I can't get anything generated that sounds "musical" compared to the original midi.lovemusic15 wrote: Mon Jul 04, 2022 10:31 am Yes that's a good point what is it mainly that you're trying to achieve.

If you want to send me the MIDI file and I will do a video for you showing you how I would use mutator to change thatJiggSaw wrote: Mon Jul 04, 2022 12:01 pmYeah, that is exactly what I'm trying to do. I've just downloaded it, so randomise progression seems to be working but really doesn't change the progression that much, so I'm not sure if that's how it's meant to work.BluGenes wrote: Mon Jul 04, 2022 4:59 pm 4.4.2 is available.. check and see if any of the bugs that were mentioned are fixed.. if you guys can...

I put a video together of used your midi and also some others, just to show you some basic things you can do but your noticed your not getting the greatest results because it still quite buggy and it really needs to have the rest feature added. If you want to make some really slight changes it's very convenient for that but once the other features are added it will be game-changing
I've made the video so Attila can see the problems a new user will face.
Hopefully it helps

Is the first video supposed to be imageless (black) up to about 2:52?
Looks like both vids are the same.

The reason for it being black at the Beginning is because I'm explaining the problems that you will see during the video and the solutions to fix those problems
