Filteria - wormhole

It's right at the start of it

It's very bubbly and smooth and I can't quite get there accurately

Very nice, many thanks. You were right, it was an excellent starting point and with just a few minor tweaks here and there I managed to get it really really close. (some slight changes to the envelopes, and also using them to slightly modulate Resonance)
What interested me the most was the 2nd oscillator tuned +7 semitones, but thought it sounded slightly better with +0.

My thanks!

yeah funny I tried a bit of both.
I could see there were some boosted harmonics in there so I knew it wasn't a simple saw.
Sometimes using +12 from the fundamental or 19 etc for the 3rd harmonic or 4th etc etc and then going through distortion is enough to make it sound less bland.

Interesting! I wonder if his bassline is a "pure" key, or indeed there's other pitches involved. Sometimes I know a track is in a certain key, but seems either slightly sharp or flat, or neither just slightly dissonant. This dissonance could be that a 3rd 5th or whatever is involved in the sound.
I will have to listen a bit more carefully next time i make a remix or something, if there's a mix or pitches in a bassline or lead. So thanks, I've gained some insight from your patch.
I'm all technical, mastering and just a tech nerd, the music part of it sometimes alludes me slightly :P

Hahaha
Yeah I feel you. It often comes from analog to digital too so the note is sampled in whatever note but the pitch can be "off"
