NI Komplete 14

I think they work on a general development environment based on Reaktor and/or Kontakt, which allows to export VSTs directly. Just like Super 8. Developers who want to sell their creations through NI, simply create it efficiently in Reaktor/Kontakt, hand over the patch, and NI includes it into their ecosystem… This would be attractive for both NI and third party developers…
To implement all this might take a while…
This is pure speculation though, but it would allow them to enhance Komplete with new content easily…

All the rules might change on options for Komplete 14.
News from PA today:
July 4, 2022
EXT365 and the PA EXTended Summer Sale 2022
In the next few weeks PA will release many - but not all - plugins made by our Soundwide partners Native Instruments & iZotope.
While the teams in Berlin, Boston and Langenfeld are working towards a unified user experience for NI, iZotope and PA plugins, we are not 100% there yet.
BUT: we have found a way to already bring you some of the best-loved NI & IZO plugins... the new EXT365 program!
Now you have a great new reason to check your inbox daily in July. We will send you a whole bunch of exclusive offers from our new Alliance partners Native Instruments and iZotope, as well as additional offers from other PA brands!
What is the new EXT365 program?
EXT365 is a program to add some of the best-loved NI & IZO plugins to the Plugin Alliance – right now, and permanently! Unlike the original PA_EXT program, which features flash sales for individual plugins from external (non-Alliance) companies for just 48 hours, the EXT365 plugins are here to stay. You will be able to pick them up at PA year-round!
Will the EXT365 plugins be included in the FOREVER 29 plan?
YES. You can buy all of the new EXT365 releases using your FOREVER 29 vouchers! You can sign up for FOREVER 29 now and collect the EXT365 plugins, one by one. And to further sweeten the deal, signing up will also give you access to the new PA MEGA Sample Player and the BX Auto-Mastering App! What’s not to like.
Will the EXT365 plugins also be included in the MEGA Bundle or MIX & MASTER Bundle subscriptions?
NO... but check this out! Since we don’t have a unified license system and installation manager for NI, IZO and PA yet, we are technically not able to add these plugins to our subscription bundles. We simply don’t have a technical solution yet to activate the EXT365 plugins for a month or for a year. However, you can use your PA Ca$hback Vouchers from our subscription plans to collect them.

They are really working hard to set up the framework to railroad everyone into a subscription service...

Would have to have massive updates to Kontakt and Reaktor user experience for me to upgrade. Will not buy through PA as they ripped me off in the past as far as I am concerned so if that is the system NI are using in the future than I have finished with them as far as updates go anyway

Which i had nothing against if i didn't spend like 1000€ last year for Ultimate. ...digitalboytn wrote: Mon Jul 04, 2022 9:08 pm They are really working hard to set up the framework to railroad everyone into a subscription service...
20 the month for the seven or eight products i really use from them? Monthly renews or de-subs if i didn't need? Yeah, give me.
That said; this chaotic wall of text from Plugin Alliance looks less than a sleek just-take-what-you-need-Komplete and more like awful ideas and Permit A38...

I’m glad it wasn’t just me. Incoherent babble, I have only the sketchiest idea what they’re blithering on about.

Awesome news. So now we can buy all NI plugins second time at PA. Yasss! Been waiting for this my entire life.
It looks like this is the future: recycling. Why buy once when you can buy the same plugin several times: at NI, PA and iZotope.
If K14 will have NEW plugins like bx_limiter and bx_meter, I'll upgrade twice!

Exactly - You cant just keep adding old stuff to a new bundle and/or lowering the cost...if people already have it (or most of it) they are done! The marketeers have taken over a once innovation led companystacev wrote: Tue Jul 05, 2022 7:12 amIt's marketers paradiseSLiC wrote: Tue Jul 05, 2022 6:11 am K14- 'even more stuff bundled that you don't want and wont use'!

Honestly, even the pirates will give up soon!. Huge product catalog, partnerships and endless possibilities to combine bundles, different price tiers, web of update-upgrade-crossgrade paths, subscription plans, promo sales etc...

The problem that NI and other 'big old catalogue' will have at some point is that unless they add new original things that 'most' people want (not just niche sample based stuff for soundtrack designers) everyone who wanted their stuff will have it already...it doesn't matter how much you bundle it up, I have already got the NI, PA and iZotope stuff I need! The only stuff I seem to be buying nowadays is the odd new instrument if there is some innovation (for example, happily bought Dawsome Novum), the small developers are where its at....

One slightly less gloomy observation - while everyone frets about largely mythical forced subscriptions, the reality is that the three of them are selling everything everywhere all at once for ridiculously cheap prices. If you don’t like one deal, there will be another one along in 12 seconds. It’s a bargain multiverse. Never been a better time for permanent license deals.
(Ah yes but it might all end tomorrow etc etc).
