Hello!
I need a simple audio editor with automation for macOS.
Automation should work with volume and plugins.
Thanks.

Are you sure that Acoustica Standard has automation?

It seems automation is not yet ready...

I use Logic Pro X. It has automation. But this app is too heavy.
I need a simple audio editor. Not DAW.
Ok, I see Wavelab has automation since 11 version. I have Wavelab 9.5 and it's very buggy.

TS2 by IrcamLab is a standalone audio editor with automation and 3rd party plug-in hosting on-board. It works as an amazing sound design tool, but it's also just as useful with basic editing duties that you would expect to see. I mention it because it's currently on sale for $59 at https://www.ircamlab.com/products/p1680-TS2/ or $49 on the KVR Marketplace https://www.kvraudio.com/marketplace/ts-by-ircamlab. It's definitely worth a look!

Ok, Morphex.
I downloaded the demo version of TS2 and tested it.
After that, I only had a thought: "Hey, IrcamLab! Just take my money!"
Awesome app.
And it's very good for sound design. We can transform any source into a completely new sound.
Thank you very much!
Just purchased it :tu:

That's awesome! I'm so glad that you took the time to try it out to see for yourself whether or not it would be a good fit. I can only relay my own experience with it, but I was pretty confident that it would exceed your expectations. :o

You made a great choice and you're going to be thrilled over the coming days and weeks as you explore all of its features. Transforming my source material into totally new sounds is the main reason why I first investigated the app. I hope you have a lot of fun with it!! :tu:

I should also mention that the v2.2.3 update that was just released, added Apple Silicon M1 Native compatibility. This is wonderful news for those using recent Macs that are running the new processors.

If not, use WaveLab Elements. It's pretty cheap, and it's multi-track (5 Tracks in Montage).

If you have 9.5 Pro, probably better to just upgrade to v11 Pro. That version also doesn't use an eLicenser, so you'd gain some convenience as well.

Zynaptiq bought the Triumph editor a while ago and is updating it (Mac only). The article below mentions a July release but nothing on the Zynaptiq site yet. It features "advanced scripting"...
