Android recorder with real time monitoring

Hi. Is there an Android audio recorder app that lets you monitor the recorded sound in real time? I only found one named Morec, but it's unusable because of the delay. Maybe there is a better one? Thanks.

The Android OS kernel is badly designed for real-time audio. This is why you are getting latency, and there's not much any developer can do about it.
Monitoring means there's latency twice in the audio path: from physical input to the app, then again from the app to the physical output.
The best advice I can give you is to try the iOs world of iPads and iPhones.
May I ask why you are monitoring, and what? Could it perhaps be done with a mixer going into the device?

Yes, I suspected Android was to blame.
I used to have a Tascam recorder that also doubled as a microphone and its recording quality was very good, but it's broken and I can't afford a new one, even less a real microphone. "iPads and iPhones," hahaha!
Most of my problems would be solved if I could afford those things. Anyway, all I have left is my phone, which has pretty good quality too. But I haven't sung a note in years and I really need to hear my own voice on headphones in real time to hear what I'm doing. The "raw" sound inside my head doesn't really work for that.

Perhaps find a nice room or space with nice reverb to sing in. Ala...sax in the city.
We jumped the fence because it was a fence not be cause the grass was greener.

Real time 'looped back' monitoring of your voice will sound weird regardless. Even the slightest latency will mess with your head, because you will always hear yourself there as well. What you were doing before was direct input monitoring, i.e. before it went through any DSP that added latency.
There's really no way around getting a mixer imo. Check second hand sites.
Another way to go is to sing in front of a reflective sound barrier. I sometimes sing 'at' my hand to get a better feel for the timbre of my voice.
Another approach might be to use a looping device to listen back with a deliberately large delay.
