SOLVED is there a VST gate that will probabilistically trigger on audio?

Looking for a gate that will trigger probabilistically - so I can set the threshold etc as usual for a gate but will let me set the probability for how often the gate opens when triggered. Has to be driven by the audio - not interested in anything that is locked to beats

EDIT - silly me, I can achieve what I want by modulating threshold - too easy
