So, looks like it's delay from Falcon internal effects line with a couple of twists...

Check it out: https://www.uvi.net/dual-delay-x.html

I don't need another delay, I don't need another delay, I don't need another delay... $29 intro price? OK, I need another delay.

Haha you read my mind :D

Not sure why this couldn’t have been added to Relayer as an update?

Is the rotation feature unique? Looks like it’s USP. Does anyone know of other plugins with this ability?

Nice delay, I like it :tu:

great delay - like many I have plenty of delays (including UVI relayer) so might not buy this. But if I didnt have plenty I would - it is at a great price

EDIT - and I bought it - for this price it has enough features with the automation to make it worthwhile. I do like UVI products - very high quality sounds and excellent interfaces

Yeah, that would an amazing delay!

Don't need another delay either, but UVI effects are solid.

If CPU use is efficient this could be a Replika XT killer.

Those are really two different delays in terms of topology.
Relayer is a multi tap delay with dedicated FX chains on each tap while DDX is a feedback dual stereo delay with a focus on shaping the feedback path to obtain, coloured, spatial and lush sounds.

Almost perfect - if only it didn't lack a modulation section. In the product video he talks about automating stuff for achieving great results - well, good point, but why then (if they already know darn well themselves that modulating these parameters can be quite fruitful) didn't they not include at least a basic modulation section (say a single freely-asignable LFO)? :?

Don't need another delay, but this sounds really good and is different enough to snap up at the intro price. GUI is clear and sharp but would benefit from smaller stereo/phase graphics, resize-ability, and maybe having effects in signal flow order.

Yes and no, depends on how you look at it, it is a simple control that mixes the feedback signal levels, anything from the delay feeding back to itself, to cross-feeding back to the other channel, it's a convenient way to ensure stability in the feedback paths(math/physics stuff). It's rather common in FDN reverb design. The "rotation" literally refers to a rotation matrix https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rotation_matrix

The dispersion control however does seem like a more rare and interisting feature.

Yes, so combine them.
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.
