has the best name ever!
sure, it is a great name. but vurtbox is only 16bit, only runs on a mattel computer (from 1996), only has 3 presets and no custom presets... and has no visible knobs or sliders.

other that that, it is probably the best synth plugin ever...
all the blobs are sliders and knobs :P
it had more presets before, i did shitloads

Mods, please delete these garbage threads that people are creating just to sell their junk.

sellling... what? most of this thread is nonsense. but yes, it's a terrible thing for people to enjoy themselves, have any fun, or indulge in playful behavior.

music-making is serious stuff, and anyone who disagrees should be punished to the full extent of the law....

Actually, my favorite synth is not quite yet made--I'm working on it right now, a VST. It is called . . . "Collidasynth OBDX." It is sample-based, so, yah, another rompler. What I'm doing is recording the sounds made when we throw a vintage OB-XA and a vintage DX-7 at each other. The sounds produced are myriad, intricate amalgamations that will change the world of music forever. It is slow going, as I have to wait for my son's video-game playing time to be over every day. He's a good sport, however, preferring to throw the DX-7. "It's more aerodynamic," he says.

Oh the sounds, oh the sounds produced, rivaled by none, infused with with the primordial energy of the universe. Like with the Hadron, miniscule blackholes are formed with each collision--as of yet, the blackholes have not joined forces to swallow up the earth. We have the neighbor's pesky cat in a cage, near the point of collision--Freckles is our "parakeet in a cave." If she disappears, we run like crazy.

Sadly, the vintage synths don't hold up long. We have been destroying every one we get, usually within a day's throwing. If you would like to donate your OB-XA or DX-7--or any other vintage synth for future projects--please PM me.
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

OK, i'll be serious. My favorite synth is the Telharmonium. i had one but i sold it, took up too much space. That's why i compose ITB now.

Lately, the Softube Model 84 brings me a ton of joy. I’m very into the simplicity and sound of the Juno lineage and this thing just nails all the feels.
