soothe2 and izotope ozone 9...

i use soothe2 (the AU, on a mac) in ozone 9 advanced, the last plugin before the maximizer. it's my 'secret weapon' for mastering (altho, lol, no longer a secret).

it does not validate in ozone 9 (not since ozone version 9.0.3). even the vst fails. both show up, show 'scanning' (in ozone's plugin window), then disappear.

oeksound sent me to izotope (they say it works for them on monterey).

i've rebooted in safe mode (ilok won't work), tried a test admin account (same problem). completely uninstalled soothe2 and ozone 9 advanced. reinstalled. same issue.

i even moved my ilok auth to my (amazed i still had this!) usb ilok dongle. no luck.

am (for the moment) out of ideas. anyone? is anyone else running soothe 2 in ozone?)... it's a great combination (when it works).
