Yeah it’s linked from the home page but labeled “other platforms” as opposed to “other platforms or installers”. We can clean that up with 1.1 to make it easier to find.audiojunkie wrote: Thu Jul 14, 2022 3:36 am Fantastic! I hadn’t noticed that before. I had a hard time finding that page, because I saw the message saying there were “no packages” and skipped over “releases”. I didn’t think of the possibility that binaries might be stored in another location. Thank you for creating binaries for your software!![]()

Sounds good! I'm just ecstatic that I don't have to try to compile it to get it to run on Fedora!

I'm running Surge XT 1.0.1 LV2 in Reaper 6.61 on Ubuntu Studio and I get this problem.
When I exit Reaper and restart it and reload a project, several of the Surge presets that were loaded have changed. I have to open each Surge instance and reload the preset and that fixes it (but I lose any tweaks). I'm not sure if this problem is on the Reaper side or on the Surge side, but I thought I'd ask here. So far this only happens with Surge and not other plugins.

The problem is in the LV2 implementation on Surge side (when not even falktx can make things work as they're supposed to, you know things are bad). Please use VST3 instead. Or try the LV2 from the upcoming 1.1 nightly and tell us how it fares. But VST3 would still be a more recommended plugin type, I think.

I tried the VST3 version and the problem is gone!
Thanks.

Does Surge XT provides the following features (can't find them) :
Copy Scene A to B or B to A?
When loading a patch load Scene A or Scene B only?

Right click on the scene A/B buttons for copy/paste options. I don't know about loading only one scene from a patch.Chris-S wrote: Fri Jul 15, 2022 3:16 pm Does Surge XT provides the following features (can't find them) :

This will be fixed in a nightly later today and in the XT 1.1 releaseChris-S wrote: Wed Jul 13, 2022 8:51 pm I think I found the reason: The "Absolute" mode of the pitch-slider of a modern-osc is NOT copied when copying the scene from A to B.
Thanks!

Hi, are there technical reasons why a LFO has a minimum rate and can not run at speed zero?
A speed zero MSEG could be used as a mod-mapper by modulating it's phase with an input modulator and get a output value based on a f(x) mapping.
This could be used eg. for non-linear keymapping (open the filter for notes around C4 only), activate an oscillator only for velocities above 90 and so on.....

Although it requires some light programming instead of simply dragging some control points around, a Formula LFO can be used as a mod mapper. Rather than modulating its phase, use some other input parameter like rate or deform. In the case of non-linear key mapping, it turns out there is a "key" parameter available to the LFO that you can use directly in the formula, so you don't even have to use a second modulator. There is an example of this in the built-in Formula examples. Open the patch browser, and find "06 Macros And Voice Parameters" under Tutorials on the right. It would be nice if this was more visible. The Formula section of the manual does not cover modstate subscriptions to get access to the voice state (or what else that might provide other than the "key" paremeter), and it mentions that there are tutorials, but not where to find them (I initially spent some time searching the internet for them).Chris-S wrote: Mon Jul 18, 2022 9:35 am Hi, are there technical reasons why a LFO has a minimum rate and can not run at speed zero?
