Any one VST plugin which does looping, reverbs and delays?

i don't understand... what's wrong with just using multiple plugins? Everyone uses effect chains to create something greater than what you can do with just one.

Feedback loops maybe.psynical wrote: Sat Jul 16, 2022 1:01 am i don't understand... what's wrong with just using multiple plugins? Everyone uses effect chains to create something greater than what you can do with just one.
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

I am trying to cut down on the amount of open GUI's on the screen as I have too many already with my entire project so one fx plugin GUI doing everything would have been ideal.psynical wrote: Sat Jul 16, 2022 1:01 am i don't understand... what's wrong with just using multiple plugins?
It's alright though, I didn't absolutely need this, was just looking into the possibility to make things easier for me so we can close this thread now.

VCV Rack Pro or Cardinal (https://github.com/DISTRHO/Cardinal) would be also an option, but one with a steep learning curve.

Hmnn, looks like something I was looking into in developing my own fx GUI with the 3 fx plugins but had to give up on it because it was waaaaay out my league.

Ah...that's a shame. Out of interest, what is it about Instalooper's looping that Turnado can't do? Is it just something in the timing, etc?mikehende wrote: Fri Jul 15, 2022 10:43 amSugarbytes support has been great trying to help with this but unfortunately Turnado's looper doesn't work like Instalooper, it's delays and reverbs are fine.BennyG wrote: Thu Jul 14, 2022 10:58 pm Hey Mike, not sure if you remember my suggestions on your post over on the Melda forum, but both Stutter Edit and Turnado have reverb and delay built in, alongside the type of looping effect you're looking for (worth waiting for the next sale on either of these). MSuperLooper isn't really the right kind of looper for your needs - that's more of a multitrack looping tool designed for live performances.

No, none of their plugins which have a looper allows you to click on different loop sizes to trigger them, at least not in the way it's done with Instalooper.

just so you know, the very particular behaviours you seem to want (im going by observation of multiple of your threads now) are rare enough in individual plugins, and thus increasingly unlikely to be found combined in a single plugin.mikehende wrote: Sun Jul 17, 2022 10:48 am No, none of their plugins which have a looper allows you to click on different loop sizes to trigger them, at least not in the way it's done with Instalooper.
Your best bet by far for combining these (fairly niche) behaviours would be to construct something in a modular environment of some kind. If your DAW/host doesnt have a 'rack' feature that already lets you do that, then your options are
- something which lets you build your own effects, like, Reaktor
- something that lets you combine plugin elements from a single vendor (eg HOFA System, Kiloheartz or even MeldaXXXX Core plus specific Melda plugins)
- or a 'subhost' plugin that works as a plugin, but loads other plugins, and lets you combine them,eg Mulab 9 Plugin, Kushview Element, or Bidule.
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

You know my project best Benny, would this work, meaning would it hamper my [our] project in any way?
Seems to me what this rack does is make each plugin's GUI smaller to fit better inside Reaper's track window? The Melda MReverb GUI is the main problem as it takes up a lot of my screen.
I will try this out tomorrow on a test project and report back, appreciate it!

I dunno man, I think you might be underestimating the power of Turnado. And why do you need to click on different loop sizes to trigger them anyway, I though you'd got yourself a MIDI controller now? (AKAI MPD218 if I recall correctly?)mikehende wrote: Sun Jul 17, 2022 10:48 am No, none of their plugins which have a looper allows you to click on different loop sizes to trigger them, at least not in the way it's done with Instalooper.
Here's a quick demo video of me triggering Turnado with buttons instead of knobs. 4 different loop sizes (1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32) across the 4 different FX slots on the top row of the plugin, controlled by the top row of 4 buttons on my controller. Then reverbs and delays on the other slots...
Of course, I do believe your controller has a few rotary knobs as well, so you could get a lot more sophisticated than this by incorporating the pads and the knobs.

Well, what can I say to this? What is showing in this video is exactly what I had asked their support to show me how to to do so and while their support was great they never got back to me with the instructions leading me to think it could not be done.
Is that your video with yourself and your controller? If yes, how do you get those precise loop sizes? I had tried like crazy but could never get it. I had tried opening the Edit of each fx and playing around with the parameters but still could not get it.
Btw, my controller is controlling bbd, MReverb and instalooper just fine.

Yep, that's me. Getting fixed loop sizes is pretty easy:mikehende wrote: Mon Jul 18, 2022 11:36 am Is that your video with yourself and your controller? If yes, how do you get those precise loop sizes?
- Add Turnado to your track and then drag the "Looper" effect from the menu on the left onto the pad under the first knob.
- Hit the Edit button on the Looper pad.
- Double-click on the amount controller underneath the size knob (indicated by the yellow arrow in my screenshot below). This sets the modulation amount to the central position, or 0.
- Use the size knob to select your desired loop size.
- Exit out of the edit screen, right-click knob 1, click Learn and then press a pad on your connected MIDI controller. You now have a pad that triggers that specific loop size and nothing else.
- Repeat the process to add different sized loopers into the other effects slots.
- When using loop sizes smaller than 1/4, you might also want to set the Key Sync (circled yellow) to a smaller amount - maybe match the loop size or set it to Off.

Works thanks! You should be working for Sugarbytes.
Next, for this too I haven't gotten a response from them. I want a regular ping pong type delay to echo/repeat the "snare" beats as you can hear in this clip of mine:
I get this in BBD by using only the Time and Feedback knobs, is this possible in Turnado please? I am not seeing a Time control in Pitch Delay feature and not seeing a regular delay option.

Had a quick play around earlier and managed to replicate it pretty well:mikehende wrote: Tue Jul 19, 2022 12:03 pm I get this in BBD by using only the Time and Feedback knobs, is this possible in Turnado please? Just a case of using the Pitch Delay, but turning the pitch and feedback parameters to zero, the delay left and delay right on free mode so you can set the time in ms, and then tweaking those times until it matches what the BBD does. I've included a slight offset (7-8ms) between the left and right delays in the video above, so you get an extra bit of stereo width on the delay, but that's not necessary.

Here's the preset file if you want to have a play around with it:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/re5s5yhpa965y ... o.sbt?dl=0
If you're on Windows, just drop that file into Turnado's Pitch Delay presets folder, which should be located here:
C:\Users\*your username*\Documents\Sugar Bytes\Turnado\Effect Presets\Pitch Delay
...and then it should be selectable from the Pitch Delay preset menu next time you load up Turnado.
