Izotope Neutron EQ/Compressor

Hi everyone,

This is one of my first posts, so first of all nice to meet you all!

Do you think that using Neutron's EQ and Compressor as main EQ and Compressor plugins is a good option or is there something I should be aware of?

Basically trying to find a cheap alternative to EQ8 and Glue Compressor which aren't present in Live Intro and as I have Neutron Elements the EQ is quite simple but it should do right? Wish there was an alternative as clean and simple as EQ8 (Obviously I love Pro Q3 interface, which I am using as a trial at the moment but I can't pay that price for a plugin).

I'm not a fan of neutron eq/compressor.

As compressor i suggest you fircomp, the first version is free and is pretty good.
For EQ i would stick with stock EQ if you are not looking for something with a specific sound

Hello rubengonc, welcome to KVR! You'll get lots of wildly different opinions. IMO most of the good solid companies like iZotope, FabFilter, Waves, Oxford etc make terrific products, and you'd be good with almost any of those. We're spoiled for choice.

Neutron EQ is my goto for pretty much everything in music and post. Quick to use, does everything I ever ask of it, useful features like un-masking with other instances.

Don't really use the compressor just because I jump to others I know a little better out of habit.
