Downloaded 192 files in a Splice pack labelled Elemynts 6. Particularly interested in using Toby Schay files. None work in AUDIO SEQUENCE, PITCHED SAMPLE, SLICED MULTI-SAMPLE (Return sound is unintelligible rumble). All the files playback only in AUDIO STREAM, too tedious and nearly impossible to work with! Same applies to my old MuLab 8.x. Complained to Splice - they don't have a clue and say files work in their Ableton (but didn't specifically say how they used them in Ableton). Have been using Splice for years with no issues until now. I have created numerous pieces with MuLab's awesome AUDIO SEQUENCE feature that blends in perfectly with my creations.
I use nothing but MuLab, no Ableton or FL, etc. - God forbid!!!
Any ideas?

Thx for the sample. That sample loads fine here in MuLab 9.
When playing it from C4 it sounds very low because MuLab recognizes "E6" in the name as the root key so it plays the sample at original pitch on E6. At C4 it's played more than 2 octaves lower which you probably experience as "rumble". You can play it at it's root key E6 or you can edit the root key of a sample via the sample context menu -> Properties.

This worked! Thanks for the solution. Never experienced this before, but now I know what to be aware of going forward.
