I can see that, but for me, not having a way to assign aftertouch is a deal breaker. I use it a lot. I also tend to look at everything in terms of, "can I make this in VCV Rack, Phase Plant, Reaktor Blocks or MSoundFactory?" It helps keep my plugin folder tidy.

OTOH, aftertouch is only useful for parts I play, which is about one in 6 or 7 synth parts in an average song. Everything else gets played by the sequencer so I can modulate or automate in the things I'd use AT for when I'm playing. Then there is the Mod Wheel, which is an excellent substitute for AT in a lot of situations. Velocity modulation is non-negotiable for me, it is far too integral to the way I work, anything else I can get around.

In any event, you could probably use MIDI cc to assign AT.

Just tried the demo. The synth has a midi learn function, but the assignments are all gone once you change the preset (Ableton Live 11). Anyone else experiencing this and know a fix?

That would suck

This is also the case in e.g. Serum, but there you can change the default mappings in some .txt file somewhere. I hope something similar is possible with Proclethya as well, otherwise this synth would be a no go for me, even for 12 bucks.

I've rendered out a WiP of Being Boiled, after replacing the main synth part with Proclethya. I've also got a couple of instances of OB-Xtreme in there, one doing the percussion and the other doing the solo Hard Sync part.

I went ahead and bought it for that insane price, but have been super busy at work + have been messing around with OBXtreme 2 so haven't tried it yet.

Yeah, it is, isn't it? I've replaced 4 or 5 parts now. One that was Invader, one Mono/Fury and a couple of Obsessions. The one in Being Boiled was something I threw in there on a whim.

That hard sync sound does indeed sound great.

If the main part, is the slower part that does throughout it felt a bit wooly to me like it could have less release, or a shorter reverb. Seemed to not finish the notes tidily enough and loses the groove a bit instead of making the groove (in my opinion. And of course not that anyone asked.). Great track though overall.

Yeah, when I threw it in I realised the MIDI needs tidying up, so I just increased the release time to cover until I get around to it. Thanks for the feedback, though. I assue teh sale has finished by now so if you didn't pick it up, all I can say is "ha! ha!".
