Hey everyone, hope you are enjoying the summer.

We have been quite active in the last couple of weeks, with a lot of great things coming up in the next weeks. We would like to announce:

1.) Apple Silicon Support - We are very happy to provide you with full native support for Apple Silicon Chips (M1), and the corresponding operating system versions 11 (Big Sur) and 12 (Monterrey) for all our plug-ins.

2.) Free plug-in and a delay - Within the next couple of weeks we will be releasing 2 new plug-ins to be added to your arsenal of BRA tools. One will even be a free plug-in - we can't wait to read your feedback on this unique unit. Please stay tuned.

3.) Summer Sale 2022 - Have you seen our Summer Sale 2022 has started? We are offering each and every plug-in for US$ 29 for a limited time only. Our bundles are on sale too. Please check:

How about going with CLAP? Reckon that'd be a good move.

So the small pool of Bitwig users can have their unique format? How about we wait until an actual major DAW supports it before we start screaming for more work for the devs to do.

That small pool of Bitwig users is growing rapidly.

Still in the making - but again: No essential feature from VST3, that makes it superior to VST2 imho. Of course, the nice-to-have features are considered to be a valuable addition. But there is basically no advantage in regards of performance/processing.

We are on it.

Ok... two things... sidechaining (especially for your dynamic plugins) in Cubendo.
and one day Cubendo will stop allowing vst2, I have started my culling from now for that day.

But glad you are on it.

Yep, me too. I don’t buy vst2 plugins anymore or use them in new projects anymore (or at least only one where the vendor has a roadmap for VST3). I’m definitely not happy about how Steinberg handled the whole depreciation of VST2, but as a Cubase user, it is a fact I have to live with and act accordingly.

Do any BRA plugins have external sidechains? I'm not at my PC, but I don't think so.

But yeah, sucks as a Cubase user that they're in the process of locking out VST2 plugins.

Exactly.
so the choices are:
a) Give up the only DAW I have been using for the last 20 years.
b) Give up (stop using/stop buying) plugins that will not be vst3 anytime soon or ever.

b) wins everytime

Vst3 plugins stop consuming cpu power if not in use. Deal breaker!

Hello! So, Roosters, it's 2024... Any release date in sight for VST3's since you've been "on it" for years, now? It's true there are significant performance increases to VST3 just as weilhalt mentioned above (no CPU use when not processing audio). *Waiting ever impatiently...*

For me - B wins every time. I've pretty much deleted all my old dll's in favour of VST3.

I actually meant b :).
I clearly was in a hurry or in a different world that day :)
