Got my Vurt Iter... I mean, Virt Iter Legio today. I had a Microfreak with these algorithms in it, I have the Virt Vereor plugin, but somehow the module is just extra badass, even before using the extra features (sync, separate L and R phase modulation). Niiiice.

the beast is lots of fun!elxsound wrote: Wed Jul 20, 2022 8:00 pmButtery smooth filter. I still see a future with one of these nearby. I’m thinking of selling off Hexinverter’s Mindphaser in favor of XPO. East Beast & West Pest would be good to add if I do.vurt wrote: Wed Jul 20, 2022 5:13 pm and now, going to have some food, then see if the room is less furnace like, and maybe give the beast a good look n listen!
particularly the random business, it generates a sequence in every pass, with random oscillator and random filter on each note
watch the oscillator and filter lights

It's crazy there's that much variation without patching. It's gonna be harder not to order, but outside of maybe ordering XPO and X-Pan I want to focus on getting Genelecs with sub, and then upgrading the computer. Might have to squeeze this one in.vurt wrote: Fri Jul 22, 2022 12:17 amthe beast is lots of fun!elxsound wrote: Wed Jul 20, 2022 8:00 pmButtery smooth filter. My stand from KVgear (Utility M3) arrived. It was supposed to come with the rods from the Stilleto stands, but until they send out the right ones I borrowed the rods from my 2 Stilleto stands to see how it works.
This thing sits much taller from a seated position than I wanted.
I might have to go the Pekbro route and roll my own stand. There's a hardware shop on my block that I'm hoping will cut things to size If I can design something that makes sense.

It's should be pretty easy for anyone with the creative talent to design cool intro videos for Make Noise. Just glue the thing together, wood glue is stronger than using fasteners anyway.elxsound wrote: Fri Jul 22, 2022 5:28 pm

*You could even use Bass wood for a lot of that, which you can cut with a kitchen knife or box
cutter.

Yeah i can't imagine the cost of one of those giant electric harps, or transporting them around. Apparently they put out frequecies so low that they can blow your speakers as well. No doubt, hiring her is not cheap as a result.
She is super cute though, imo. I'm sure no body argues about her fee.
