I made a video with the ARP 2600 and Audity One recording amp.

I’m surprised by how well it reproduces high frequencies. I can’t wait to really open it up but I wanted to show what it sounds like with just a bit of tube saturation.

Please collectively keep your fingers crossed... I just ordered Genelecs 8020D from EU. Most places weren't allowing orders to the US, so I'm hoping mine won't get canceled. It seems they're on holiday until August 1st, so I won't know what's what until next month!

Because these are definitely not in the budget, I'll have to try back for a subwoofer later. The price is too good to sleep on (if it actually happens).

Honestly I'm surprised the price hasn't gone up more.

I still think that's not too unreasonable for a dual LPG. Cheaper than two Erica Black LPGs, not that much more than two Doepfer LPGs. Obviously pricier than an LxD but a lot more controllable, and IMHO the best sounding of all of them.

That price is also far cheaper than the 2nd hand market.

I thought they were supposed to raise the price so it’s nice to see it stay the same (considering everything else has gone up).

I have had a long think and have realised my childhood dream Alesis Monitor One MKII speakers aren't up to par. It could be the cheap ass amplifier but I might just get rid and buy some iLoud monitors for the desk.

Regarding counselling I definitely need to sit with one at some point. Past trauma definitely effects the psyche, and coming from children's homes, foster care, detention centre (when you're too young for jail), YOI then adult prison didn't help either.

It was my fault. But things that happened in the past let me to being a criminal for a long time.

Police abusing their power in London was the worst. I got beaten by police on Wandsworth Road while walking AWAY from a scene as instructed. Whack on the back of the legs. Then they beat the shxt out of me and a friend. We both had jobs and were not criminally active.

They released us without charge, zero paperwork, etc. Nothing said.

When I went to work the next day on Tottenham Court Road with bruises and hardly able to walk... I lost my job because I looked like shxt.

That was when I gave up on humanity and became evil.

I didn't get my act together until 2009 and now run 4 small private businesses and run a car rental company for a friend in Germany every summer at the Nürburgring.

Counselling session over. I feel better. Thank you and have a great day guys!

I keep going through these phases where I want, then don't want, then want, don't want, etc etc etc a Sequential Pro 3. I'm currently in a don't want phase and I don't have the space or inputs for it anyway, so I hope it stays that way...
