Ableton live lite 8 tracks is a bit too restrictive

You can always use the old trick of loading sounds into a drum rack after rendering - theoretically that gives you 130 slots x 8 tracks - ie 1040 tracks

Ok, its not as good as having unlimited 'real' tracks but a useful workaround if you want to keep in the ableton ecosystem

If you're using Live Lite there is no ecosystem, cause you likely aren't willing to pay to buy into it.

All you have is a super basic, heavily restricted sequencer with almost nothing else in the package.
