looking at buying arts acoustic reverb but looking back on older posts I see some having problems contacting them to buy or if they have a question. it still seems the most popular reverb for my genre (trance). but because it hasn't been updated in a long time not sure to purchase as you never know when its going to become incompatible with either Ableton or the operating system. still not sure yet if I can purchase as in uk and outside European Union which the buy link no longer seems to work. The 1 within the European Union does though.

I would only purchase it if you plan to stick to the Mac you have now for a longer time, as ArtsAcoustic's plugins will probably never see a M1 native update. If you had a Windows computer, I wouldn't see a problem, but, not on Mac OS.

. yeah not planning on getting a m1 for a while yet. shame its a great reverb and now a little put off that it has crashed within a few minutes of using it. Been meaning to buy for years but couldn't justify the cost then. I know its a fair bit discounted from what it originally was but not much use if it crashes the DAW nowchk071 wrote: Wed Jul 27, 2022 9:26 am I would only purchase it if you plan to stick to the Mac you have now for a longer time, as ArtsAcoustic's plugins will probably never see a M1 native update. I bought it about 6 months ago. I hadn’t the need to speak directly to them but the sale went through fine. I’m on Mojave which is frozen for legacy software. If/when I update my system I’m kinda accepting that it probably won’t make the transition.
But… I do lurve the beautiful swirls of trancey reverb mist it provides!

I have it working on a M1 Mac via rosetta, FYI. didn't buy it recently, though.

This is the thing, Soundsauca bought it 6 months ago, they're still receiving money from people... Still in the KVR database. I've owned all their plugins for over 10 maybe 15 years now... I can't even get them to change my email, send me my serials nor even answer my flipping emails or support requests. Tried from a bunch of different email addys.
No word from the dev. It's f**king dodgey.

cheers all. will test the demo over next few days but probably best to look at the other options if they are not responding to contact. . I was also looking at Valhalla Room which a few producers I follow seem to be using but not tried that yet

Thanks for the tips! I am interested in buying the fabfilter all plugin pack but I'm hesitating because of the price. Good to know some cheaper alternativesVortifex wrote: Wed Jul 27, 2022 11:23 am Honestly just get Valhalla Room or Vintage Verb. They're cheaper and Sean Costello is a cool dev who supports his products. If you don't mind spending a bit more then there's Relab Sonsig Rev-A or Fabfilter Pro-R, both really nice reverbs.
