That does look cool. I have long sought a matrix mixer that has a VCA for every node AND is not totally cramped. I was hoping they would offer a banana jack version like they did with their other products but I figure it's probably too expensive to keep making products with two jack options and most people are gonna want 1/8" jacks.pekbro wrote: Wed Jul 27, 2022 9:38 am A nifty matrix mixer from Herbs and Stones, for those who don't read over at MW.
I might have to pony up for this one.![]()

For some reason, I was just reminded of 4ms' old Glitch Matrix. I wonder if those ever come up for sale. I remember wanting one sooooo bad when they came out.

That reply is unacceptable for this thread.

Needed some more jacks from Thonk, also picked up a Gaeto kit in the order. It's a really neat Eurorack module that hits a lot of the design principles I like: compact but not cramped, patch-programmable, helpful normalisation, deterministic, works with a wide range of signals.
Slightly harder to explain what it does; it's basically a latch that is set by a high signal and resets on each clock. So it's a kind of "gate quantizer", but with using the inverted outputs and normalisation it can also work as a clock divider, and handing off between the two sections can add a delay. Apparently you can chain them to make a shift register!

I just bought a Moog Grandmother and a second hand Subsequent last 2 months and now going to sell Grandmother and buy The Matriarch now that I've learned good bit about synthesis and need more from it. Never given them much thought as I'm more a guitar and piano man but enjoying using VST ones like Hive and Zebra, Dune 3 etc, I've been drawn in to the Synth world more. The sound from these Moogs is just incredible, I love getting lost in it for a few hours, that's all I need.

It’s like the universe knows you’ve got noise making needs and needs for more noise makers, noise processors, sexy noise related utilities and more cables.vurt wrote: Wed Jul 27, 2022 7:54 pm im sure you all remember my scooter
