Oh, definitely, I'll add that.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Fri Jul 29, 2022 3:30 pm There is an option to "Reset All Ratings" but there doesn't seem to be a way to clear out an individual rating once you enter one. I think we need a "zero stars" option.
...or a "Reset Rating" [in addition to "Reset All Ratings"] option that applies to only the selected IR.

Most of the Factory bank are included, a bit transformed or improved, but not all of them. If you want, you can still import the bank over but some settings will be different like the Pitch and Filters that behave in a different way.sinkmusic wrote: Fri Jul 29, 2022 3:59 pm A couple questions :
- Are all the V1 presets included in V2 (and, if not, is there an easy way to convert them)?
That's interesting, I'll think about adding it.sinkmusic wrote: Fri Jul 29, 2022 3:59 pm - Did you consider some kind of visual feedback for the compressor (like a vumeter of some sort) to check quickly if/when the compressor is active?

Ok but I don’t need to run both versions but would prefer not to have to setup folders and favourites etc again. Can settings be copied over?audiothing wrote: Fri Jul 29, 2022 4:52 pmThank you! No, v2.0 is considered a completely new plugin, so you can run both together if you want. You can still import the banks, but some of the settings are different (like the Pitch and the Filters).aMUSEd wrote: Fri Jul 29, 2022 12:58 pm Fantastic upgrade - was looking forwards to this!
Will it retain my settings, presets and folders from version 1?

Wow! This is now a serious Reverberate competitor. But way more pleasant to use.

I asked once a while back, but I'd love to see a similar product geared specifically towards guitar cabinet impulses with features like:
1. Loads 3 (or 4) impulses simultaneously (I figure 2 cabs, 1 room)
2. No/minimal latency
3. Same/similar bank management system with favorites as Fog Convolver 2
4. Includes a 2-band dynamic EQ with depth/frequency controls for each band. Band 1 is a low end boost, Band 2 is a midrange notch. This would simulate the dynamics of the cab moving forward and backwards to push some air.
5. Post FX (Saturation, EQ, Compression, etc.)
If you're like me and bought a few massive guitar cab impulse libraries (e.g. Ownhammer), you realize how few Cab IR plugins really do anything to help you organize these massive IR libraries. There are closed products like from Celestion, Overloud, and Softube - but there's a real gap when it comes to a good product focused on guitar players designed with the idea of "load up your own impulses - we'll help you organize them and help them sound good." I think Audio Thing can fill that gap in the marketplace. If it came with impulses of cabinets, great, but I honestly wouldn't care if it didn't!
And yeah, about every guitar amp sim lets you load up an impulse, but again...they do nothing to help you organize your library so the workflow is clumsy when you've got hundreds of IR's to sort through.

Upgraded and downloaded the "Full" version but no presets are there. Is there some other place I need to go to download the presets? Thanks
Edit: My bad, I didn't check "Samples" in the installer. Everything's there now including presets.

Yes, you can copy the banks over and Fog v2 will load them just fine. But, as said before, a few settings might be different (Pitch, Filters), but the bulk of the preset is the same.aMUSEd wrote: Fri Jul 29, 2022 5:40 pmOk but I don’t need to run both versions but would prefer not to have to setup folders and favourites etc again. Well, limiting Fog to just 2 slots was actually necessary to avoid overcomplicating things (and having to charge way more than people might want to pay), but you can still do some of the things you said with v2.0. We also might add a proper cabinet bank in the futureFunkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Fri Jul 29, 2022 6:50 pm I asked once a while back, but I'd love to see a similar product geared specifically towards guitar cabinet impulses with features like:
