I think the vst3 version is also only on the mac for the odyssey.
Btw Korg finally responded to my email about the issue a few days ago, and said they are working on it.

Hi, by chance I noticed there was an arp update 1.4.1.Weasel-Boy wrote: Fri Jun 03, 2022 11:46 pmYes, there actually is an Odyssey VST3. Version 1.4.0. There is a problem with it running on an M1 Mac.
The Arpeggiator is broken. None of the 16 Parameter sliders work. Adjust any one of them and they'll snap back to "0". You can't set any values with it. The only recourse is to remove the VST3 version from the VST3 folder so the VST2 version takes over. That version's Arpeggiator functions correctly.
Korg has been informed but no fix yet.
At least on my system they fixed the arp sliders now.
ARP Odyssey
Version 1.4.1
[Mac] Fixed a problem in which the following parameters could not be set correctly in Cubase.
UNISON DETUNE
UNISON SPREAD
VOICE ASSIGN
PORTAMENTO
ARPEGGIATOR Mode
ARPEGGIATOR Type
ARPEGGIATOR Note On/Off
ARPEGGIATOR Step Values

I wish they make it bigger! It is from the few synths I have that has blurry and small GUI
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Agreed. (I also wish all their other synths it had a global way to make it louder).
But yeah they need to make it resizable like their others. (and vst3 for pc)

I was wondering/hoping that maybe the reason they didn't update the windows VST3 of Odyssey yet was because maybe they are working on a new bigger UI first. But that wouldn't explain why it would be VST3 for mac already, unless it's way easier to migrate a VST2 to a VST3 on mac for some reason. I have no idea.zvenx wrote: Thu Jul 28, 2022 11:27 pm Agreed. (I also wish all their other synths it had a global way to make it louder).

The odd part is, those aren't even real VST3s.. If you delete the VST2s, none of them work. Its just a wrapper pointing to the VST2 plugin heh. Unlike Arturia, who puts a copy of the VST inside their AU's, they just point to the actual plugin and if you remove them, no more Korg VST3s..Echoes in the Attic wrote: Fri Jul 29, 2022 1:21 pm I was wondering/hoping that maybe the reason they didn't update the windows VST3 of Odyssey yet was because maybe they are working on a new bigger UI first. Yeah Tone2 do that too, and maybe others I don't know about. Would rather standalone VST3 as well.mothra wrote: Fri Jul 29, 2022 6:26 pmThe odd part is, those aren't even real VST3s.. IMO, Silicon support made it immediately and absolutely necessary to continue selling to the Appleheads. No such "must" is yet required for PC. Apparently, Korg won't do anything unless they absolutely have to.
Meanwhile, Oddessy stand-alone still crashes on my Win10 when trying to change it to the ASIO driver. And after four separate exchanges with support that have all been repeated and dropped by them in exactly the same manner, I don't expect them to fix it until they absolutely have to.
(Hopefully.)

Really? I have just tried it and it didn't crash. Just to let you know, so maybe you can compare and find the reason.BBFG# wrote: Fri Jul 29, 2022 9:28 pm Meanwhile, Oddessy stand-alone still crashes on my Win10 when trying to change it to the ASIO driver. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Like I've said repeatedly, Korg is aware of the problem and promised 5 times they would get back to me on it (4 times on the last email, 1 time on a previous they now refuse to acknowledge.) And then they drop it until I contact them again just to completely start over and go through the same loop of information, screen shots, uninstall/install and another empty promise to get back to me. Glad it's working for you, but it doesn't on my Win10 system.EnGee wrote: Fri Jul 29, 2022 9:44 pmReally? I have just tried it and it didn't crash. BTW, another thing I keep repeating...
All the other plugins work fine on that system and all the plugins including Oddessy works fine on my Win7 system.

I don't doubt you! I was just trying to help, so you can compare with your system. Anyway, good luck.

It’s weird they didn’t made the UI resizable. Each time there’s a sale I’m tempted to buy Odyssey and then no because I know it’ll be frustrating trying to make sounds on itzvenx wrote: Thu Jul 28, 2022 11:27 pm Agreed. (I also wish all their other synths it had a global way to make it louder).

Note to Zvenx: I D/L’d the new version the day it was released to find they fixed the VST3’s faulty arpeggiator. At least we now know they pay attention to emailed trouble reports.
Even worse… on a Mac, you can’t move the VST2’s into an organizing sub-folder from where the installer places them. Do that and they cease to function. The odd part is, those aren't even real VST3s..
