All good, I already have a bunch of synths that are bought and yet to be a explored... Were all spoilt for choice these days...

Thought the OB-Xtreme sounded really great though.

Thanks for the motivation. I cleaned up the MIDI last night and tweaked the envelopes a bit and it definitely sounds better now. Without your little shove I probably would have left it how it was, because I'd gotten used to it.

If its any consolation, I bought it anyway. I figured it would be a good sound design tool with the FM and whatnot. I’m making sound effects for a rail shooter and it seemed like it could be useful.

Nice! Ive found recently its quite incredible how much difference can be made from seemingly quite small changes I.e shortening kicks, tightening bass, tweaking ducking.

Thanks for sharing your music with real examples of synths in use. Not everyone does that.

I'm a bit the same, although I don't often do any ducking. But I've found that a few tweaks to a synth patch can have a much better effect than EQing and/or compression.

Ha! I knew you'd cave, you just needed a little shove. BTW, I had to look up what a rail shooter was. Turns out it's every video game I've ever played.

It still sounds the same and I'm still loving what it does. In fact, I was just thinking earlier today that I need to fire it up again tonight and play around with it a bit more, see what else I can coax out of it. Spooky, huh?

Synth sure sounds top of the line and seemed amazing at first. Now I don't want to rain on anyone's parade but the filter cutoff keyboard tracking does not seem to work. I emailed the company about it and they never responded. So to me this is a big red flag and no buy.

For me the LFOs only going down to 1.0Hz and no lower was the death stroke.

Anyone else have issues with 1.0.8 in Reaper? Can't get a peep out of it, working fine in Live.
