I'm personally looking for one that works on Windows, and could host multiple MIDI plugins in a chain, routed to VST.
Of course I googled, which came up with some suggestions, but not much detail about what they are like.
Free or budget price would be ideal.
Thanks for looking.

https://nugenaudio.com/sigmod is a bit cheaper I think - can go on sale sometimes too or maybe jrrshop or audiodeluxe have their standard discounts on it too

...thanks folks for suggestions
EDIT -it looks like it's $5 for the latest version, for updates there's a subscription...
'Access to Element pre-built releases for 14 days'
..so you get a keeper but no updates after 14 days I think is what that means?

It was a commercial project which was later transformed into an open source project. The binary downloads have a price tag. I bought it before it went open source and have access to new versions for free. Free software needs support as well…
The developer is extremely helpful. Just out of curiosity I downloaded the sources and he helped me to get it compiled…

Absolutely, always good to support the developers.Tj Shredder wrote: Sun Jul 31, 2022 6:31 am ...Free software needs support as well…

I was just trying to work out what the various options on display actually meant. from the way it was worded, alongside the subscription options. Maybe me, but for a moment I thought it was access for 14 days only...but it meant access to any updates for that period.
Anyway I took the plunge for only $5.
I'm just trying to route the MIDI outs from Playbeat3 into different keys of a VST drum instrument, making random MIDI patterns to trigger VST percussion. I haven't worked out how to do that yet in Kushview Element, have to sit with a few tutorials I think. I can see yo just connect the nodes but it doesn't seem to work with what I want to do

You can be creative in any right place on Earth, and not only in the wealthiest cities. Bring the world feelings from everywhere, and not only feelings of capitalistic or jail environment.
