Audio playback ends up with screeching noise in Acoustica

Short version: I downloaded and installed Acoustica trial to see if it can help me with a few things. I exported my audio from DaVinci Resolve, wav, 24bit, and loaded it up. The moment I hit "Play" my audio freaks out and I just get a loud screeching from Acoustica. The audio file works fine in e.g. Foobar 2000.

The audio settings don't seem to provide anything useful, the "ASIO" option didn't work with the integrated audio. I tried to just set the sample rate to 48kHz, didn't change anything.

Tried to export 16-bit WAV instead of 24-bit WAV and it still sounds very broken, doesn't scream quite as offensively but is still unusable. Exported from DaVinci Resolve 17.4

Very strange issue. Since you hear noise after stopping the audio in Acoustica, I assume that it is related to the audio drivers. Could you please try to increase the buffer size in Edit > Preferences > Audio Device Settings? Please also make sure that you have version 7.4.7 of Acoustica installed.

I was trying to reply days ago but the forum blocked me and seems the recommended method of "message Ben" doesn't seem to be working to resolve this, so I haven't done anything about it. Anyway maybe on the weekend I'll take a look.

I'm not sure why you post was considered spam, but Ben was hopefully able to shed some light on that in the meantime? I don't quite understand the length issue. Which format did you export in the first time? I wouldn't recommend compressed formats such as MP3, AAC or similar.
