Wow! I can't stress enough how much I HATE the new keyboard IK added under the fretboard in v2.0.2!
Is there no way to make it go away?
It is extremely distracting for users who just look at the fretboard.
Why not have 3 modes, IK?
Fretboard, keyboard, and both.

Well, I have to admit that I asked for something like this. I like seeing the fretboard and keyboard at the same time - like MODO 1 - but 3 options would work for me

The problem with it is the keyboard colours are bright (orange and white), while the fretboard is dark, so now your eyes are constantly drawn to the keyboard instead. Plus, it's shoved right up against the fretboard, so it ends up crowding it and makes it harder to see it as a fretboard. It's unpleasant to look at, and makes my brain itch every time I do. Very bad design, at the very least.

when I first loaded, my thoughts were WTF? Seriously? it looks so awkward, inelegant, amateurish and distracting. what an ugly mess.jamcat wrote: Sat Jul 09, 2022 11:24 pm Wow! I can't stress enough how much I HATE the new keyboard IK added under the fretboard in v2.0.2!

please, make it go away.
I don't even see the point of it, as you're probably either drawing the notes or playing them on a keyboard, in either case you already know where they sit on a piano...

I would be happy with the keyboard being replaced by just negative space in “fretboard only” mode, to give the fretboard some breathing room.

Well the point is - you want to see where the note is on the fretboard and you want to see the control notes (the ones above and below the actual playing notes) on the keyboard - kinda like in ver 1.I don't even see the point of it, as you're probably either drawing the notes or playing them on a keyboard, in either case you already know where they sit on a piano...

That’s a fair thing to want. I wasn’t nearly as annoyed by it in v1 as I am now. It’s because v1 didn’t use that eyeball searing orange.

well, i guess so, even if i dont feel rhe need for it. but as it is, it feels like a clumsy after thought. at least, make it an option.

So I am thinking about buying just the Studio Upright Bass from Modo Bass 2 (I already have the full Modo Bass 1 package and the Modo Bass 2 CS). I have noticed in Modo Bass 2 that there are a bunch of patterns that are locked. If I buy just the Studio Upright Bass - will that unlock the rest of the patterns or are those only unlocked if you buy the Mode Bass 2 SE or Modo Bass 2 Full packages?
Thanks
Thanks

If you are going to buy 1, you may as well buy 1 and get 3 free, than just buying 1 and getting nothing else.skyman88882002 wrote: Wed Aug 03, 2022 3:21 am So I am thinking about buying just the Studio Upright Bass from Modo Bass 2

I tried that. The answer is no. One model is not enough for unlocking the new features. You need to buy SE or the whole version of MODO Bass 2.skyman88882002 wrote: Wed Aug 03, 2022 3:21 am So I am thinking about buying just the Studio Upright Bass from Modo Bass 2 (I already have the full Modo Bass 1 package and the Modo Bass 2 CS). I'm just trying the free version. I see there are options for number of strings, but the piano roll extends much farther than the possible 6 of the 60s bass. Are there any bass models that include ranges that go lower than B0?

You need extra keys for all the "articulations" - above and below the actual playing range.
