One Synth Challenge #162: V-Station by Novation (Plan C Wins!)

So far no issues with the VST3 version, running FL studio on Win.

On my PC the interface appears in very small (it happens to me with old plugins not resizable because of the definition of my screen)
Impossible to change the size (except by changing the definition of the screen, but it also changes everything else..) or you have to use the windows magnifying glass, but it’s not practical.
V-Station next to Synth1 :

Is that Synth1 on the right?
Didn't know Synth1 had a theme support.
Do you mind telling us how u did that?

It's not really a theme support, but in the "options" panel (by clicking on the "opt" button) you can customize the color codes.

That scaling must be due to the resolution or Synth1's GUI size settings though. Here's what it looks like on my 1080p display:

Synth1's GUI isn't much bigger than V-Station's.

Edit: Synth1's panel size is already at 150% by default, so, you probably set that to 250% or whatever...

@chk071 Yes, It was just for example, I have many other plugins that are good size or resizable, but with V-Station I really don’t see anything at all

It would have been nice to be able to scale the gui a little bit, but still it's pretty usable after all. Then it has that adorable juicy sound...

The following has been used to create this track in Bitwig Studio 4.3.1:
10 V-Station instances with sometimes a couple of FX activated
8 times EQ+ from Bitwig
1 Reverb 4 from TAL
1 instance of Deelay from Integraudio - Sixth Sample
+ EQ+, compressor and peak limiter from Bitwig Studio on the master and lots of automation

Good luck to everyone and kudos to Novation for giving away V Station!

How fun! Took me a courageous try to activate it. If anyone else is worried about how this goes:
• click on buy from E-Store directly (or whatever it said) and it will instantly download their license file.
• then you just choose to pick the license option and load that file.
• Done

In case I just didn't say that info, I apologize for writing this, but I'd have been thrilled to see this right away!

Oh my, this is a beautiful work-horse synth! DANG!

I've just did a tiny test, using 9 instances. I may possibly participate again this round. It's too sweet a synth, really. Just fancy enough, but most definitely a solid, simple little beauty to work with:

Not an entry but made to the rules of the competition, I just wanted to tag along but not enter, I hope thats ok.

Ableton Live 11 Suite (11.0.10)
4 Instances of novation v-station vst. All 4 are set to midi files.
2 instances are set presets. 1 instance is a very slight modified set preset. 1 instance is a preset made by me, i made the kick as there was no set preset or it.
1 effect = Compressor in ableton (on the custom kick), compressor has some custom settings.
No idea why the first 4 beats of my kick are different (higher frequency) that is a project gremlin when bumped to audio mp3 that i think turned out alright.
The volumes all messed up too low, sorry.
