Why make anything? Why bother?

Why post on internet forums? There's a gazillion of posts there already. Most even more interesting than this topic.

And I don't ask this to shut people down, but to find my own way through the clutter and futility.

So why make tracks, why write, why make images and publish any of those when there is a blizzard of other stuff out there?

Same thoughts. If I'm not in, let's say, top 1000 trance producers in the world, why bother? It's a waste of everyone's time.

Still, I'm looking for the most effective ways to use my time. Making tracks barely anyone will ever hear is certainly not one of them, so now the key problem is to boost the audience and reach.
It is native to believe someone will create a hit in their basement and suddenly an obscure track will propel them to top of the charts.

Forget about what happens after you’ve created a track, painting, poem, book, sculpture, puzzle etc.
The beauty of creation is being in a moment of ‘Constantly becoming’ where time ceases to exist and you just are in that moment, in that moment where you lose time you become immortal. This is what creativity and also sport achieves. The best moments of your life were always combined with a loss of time those “I can’t believe where the time went.” Moments. Creativity is not about a focus on selling a product, that’s a different thing altogether - although that can also be extremely creative - but about spending the minutes, hours of a day living something beautiful. Who cares if anybody hears what you do as long as the journey was challenging, exciting, educational and most of all surprising. One of the great things about music with all its parts is the ability to come up with something that surprises you, something you thought you would never be able to do. Man! Music is the ultimate playground. Enjoy:)
