Perfect!! It's very, very clear! Thank you so much!! This will definitely help non-Debian users to know that it is available for them too!

(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)

Thank you very much for "Filter Analysis". For me, the visualization of any part of the synthesizer is very important.

I'm super excited for this!
And as always deeply impressed with the work of the team, and proud of the little part I've played.
My top three additions are:
The new voice modes, for nicer mono phrasing and more piano-like poly behavior.
The Random LFO shapes getting randomer.
Royal Surge is back. <3

Oh, just a heads up for windows users, one person reported some user patches going missing when running the XT 1.1 installer. That shouldn't happen, but maybe back up your patches before installing just to be safe.
Will report back with more info.
EDIT: False alarm.

I had just downloaded the older version from the library (my own computer has limited bandwidth) and only a few days later learned of this release. Now I'm going to have to go back to the library! Still, I am excited about this and particularly about exploring clap. Thank you very much to the surge team for working so hard on this and other stuff and giving it away free. You deserve all the donations you are given, you really do.

Yes; we have the code and got a pre-alpha version of the SC2 engine with a placeholder gui working at the end of winter. We are returning to it now. viewtopic.php?t=560292 maybe one day that forum post will also have 182 pagesmccy wrote: Thu Aug 04, 2022 3:21 pm Wow, is there any chance for my most beloved Sampler Shortcircuit to be reborn?

100%
But we do welcome people who want to volunteer their effort and expertise to work on documentation, testing, content, and development!

Woooooohooooooo!!!! I didn't recognize that! Maybe I could contribute a crazy library like I did for MSoundfactory:baconpaul wrote: Thu Aug 04, 2022 3:23 pmYes; we have the code and got a pre-alpha version of the SC2 engine with a placeholder gui working at the end of winter. Great work again guys! This thing continues to sound great and good to see continued development by you passionate people. Any chance we are going to see a full page layout preset browser ala u-He instead of the pop-up/pulldown menu we have now?
