DAWs In The Future: Digital AI Avatar Assistants

This may be 15 to 25 years on from now, but this is how I see the progress in technology where what you compose will be analysed vie a digital avatar assistant, who will converse with you to make creating music more of an experience. No longer will you need a real human to judge how good your music is. AI will tell you by learning from your previous mistakes in real time, offer suggestions and be as real as a real person. Making music alone will be a thing of the past. The possibilities that your digital avatar could be set to work and argue on your behalf on digital forums, whilst you sit down and get on with creating music is an interesting one also. This maybe all sound Blade Runnerish, but technology is getting so real that not only hearing a woman can sound so real, but not being able to see the difference between a digital version of a human, and a real human is so close to reality you can't see the difference.

Why does it have to look or sound human?
Got plenty of those.

AI is not even remotely conscious - the hubris of the IT industry is out of control. But machine learning is a branch of statistics that really could be applied to make some interesting interactive compositonal tools

No, we dont need DAWs for incels in love with FL-chan.
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

Mods please step it up
These ridiculous Trancer threads don't belong in the Host applications category .
The only reason he keeps posting it in here instead off "Off topic' is because he knows it will get more attention -views , whcich is something he thrives on .
It is borderline trolling , and it's going on for years .

Yup, basically the need to go to music college to learn about using DAWs, could very well be taught and assessed by a digital avatar assistant. Back in 2001 I remember walking into Edinburgh's college, the same one that was used in the film Trainspotting. Students were using a version of Cubasis to learn about music as part of their course. I actually had a personal tutor whilst doing an open learning course for a year that I visited once a month at a college before I went to Edinburgh. I had to work my way through a dozen books and keep documenting what I was working on. My tutor listened to the music I had created and taught me other aspects, in composing music, such as chord structuring.pekbro wrote: Thu Aug 04, 2022 2:18 am In future, AI DAW programs you, not other way around. ~Y. Digital AI assistants could in fact replace manuals as a way to teach people how to use the software we use. Being able to ask the computer about what a particular function does and for information to be relayed back to you based on the composition you are creating. The AI could find the samples best suited to the music you want to make. In the film Blade Runner, Deckard spoke to the computer to guide the tracker to a point on the screen. The same principle could be applied when using a DAW. Whilst using your voice, it is, possible to control aspects of a DAW even as of 20 years ago, the idea of having something far more advanced such as a Digital AI Assistant would really be far more useful.
