Techivation releases T-Warmer [Musical Saturation Plug-in]

We have just released a new plug-in called “T-Warmer”. It's perfect for injecting unique musical harmonic saturations to low and mid frequencies. You can use it to make anything sound warmer and fuller.


The main solutions T-Warmer offers:

Make low frequency instruments, such as sub-bass, 808s and bass guitars sound thicker and more audible on smaller speakers.
Make the kick drums and snare hits sound rounder and fuller.
Make vocal tracks sound bigger and more consistent.
Tame out guitar and piano peaks, and make them sound rounder.
Add more warmth and weight to the whole mix in the mastering process. Increase the width of thin and weak synth sounds to have them sound thicker.
And you can use it on any other kinds of sound sources with mid and low-frequency information.

I must say I also don’t really love the activation process... if the company/website disappears, even for a while, you’re f#cked. That’s not very reassuring as a customer.

But I love the plugins you’re making, they’re really premium quality. I bought three today, including T-Warmer.

With an activation/DRM system such as Techivation, you should know going in that if they go under you lose access to your products, and then purchase accordingly. I am sure we've all lost access to software we've spent money on... (I reflect on those early shareware days, or even all the software I bought for my Apple ][+ in the early 80s...) thats the way it goes.

Makes me think about Waves... I am not big fan of Waves however they seem to focus more on robustness and longevity. When resources are finite, choices have to be made.

For me in my audio work there is room for cool new products that might have a short lifespan. Most of what I buy I don't mind taking the "loss" if I get some good use out of it. There will always be mistakes and things that happen out our control... that all leads me to: Buyer Beware.

The issue is that everytime I open the plug it hangs for 5 secs or so before opening. It's obviously phoning home. I don't normally purchase plugins that do that. I can't imagine owning a bunch of your plugs hanging like this. I've also had to reauthorize the plug a couple of times as well. I'm on the latest version. It's very distracting from the creative process to have to concern myself what's going to happen the next time I open it.

Will these plugins periodically require re-activation? Today I had T-Clarity and T-Exciter ask me to activate them again.

It's a bit hard to remember because I was in the middle of trying to track down crashing but I think T-Clarity was at the latest version when it asked for re-authorization but T-Exciter wasn't up to date yet.

I just timed it. It takes 10 seconds to for the plugin window to open. This is not acceptable. I've sent your support a request for a refund.

I tried one of these plugins and it didn't do anything. There was literally no difference to the output whether it was on or off. So make sure you demo before you buy.
