By the way... if you're not that familiar with V-Station, and don't want to make the same mistake I did many years ago: Don't use the master volume parameter to set the volume of the presets, but instead go to the "Extra" tab, and set it there via Evelope -> prog level. IIRC, the master volume doesn't get saved with the preset, but is rather for quick adjustment of potential differences in level when browsing presets. I didn't know that back then, and when I recalled a project, I had to adjust the level of 10 tracks by hand again...

Here's another preview, and a headphone mix - only it's softstylish. Love this synth, it speaks my language (which is not Italian, incidentally!)

Ehehehe, fits perfectly, though! Very authentic! 8)
Has anyone noticed the beautiful FM quality of this thing? Just smooth and clear all the up there. Pretty amazing, I find.

Noticed 🙂

Classic Schiingwave!!!! :D
Just a touch of EQ and a tickle of compression

Good to see you, Michael!

I actually thought of you when I got my drumkit together a little tighter than I normally do on this one - "hmm, this sounds like a TheNeverScene snare!" I know, I know - I shouldn't flatter myself :D

Also: TheNeverScene, Taron, Peter:H and myself on the same OSC page - this is, like, so 2018!

The old gang!

Do we need more ancient synthesizers so that you gather more often?.. :hihi:

I have a feeling that the Avengers or the Justice League have reunited for a great feat! :hail:

Now all one can do is wonder whether a group photo would reinforce that image - or turn it completely to dust.

Honestly, I've never made a bucketlist, but a group photo with all of you, which would mean that we all did get to meet, would be TOTALLY on mine and a reason to start one, too!

lol yeah, it's better than a high school reunion! I haven't done one of these in a while, so I've been fiddling with V station a little bit.

Long time listener, first time submitter.

I am interested in entering this for the first time. I usually use Qtractor on Linux, but this is a Windows only soft synth.

What are my option? Is there a way to get this running under Linux? I also have a Windows 7 partition, is there any free software I can use? Or should I just install the soft synth on my Windows XP Pentuim 4 machine, run it with a stand alone host and trigger it via midi and then I can use the normal Qtractor?

Post

@TygerTung -- it's Windows and Mac, not Windows only. Also if you read earlier in the thread, it seems like people had success with the VST2 version running with WINE.
