Maybe they mainly do consulting, maybe they mainly do other things with their lives and Zynaptiq has become less important to them. Not noticed a lot of their products being bettered by others - different, possibly as good, but not seen a lot that are obviously better

here's another video, morphing and vocoding is real time, the apple script is for batch processing, also new time-stretch algo in there, he says upgrade $99 for the bundle for owners of any of the previous aurchitect/audiofile engineering apps
he's using the same sample as he did 4 years ago, shocking

For one, just like other granular time/pitch developers they license the tech to other companies, that's probably most of their revenue right there. MOTU Digital Performer uses Zynaptiq for time/pitch for instance. I'm trying to remember, but I recall iZotope and IRCAM also license this tech.fairlyclose wrote: Sun Jun 05, 2022 8:48 pm Maybe they mainly do consulting, maybe they mainly do other things with their lives and Zynaptiq has become less important to them. pretty sure triumph has stuff in it licensed from izotope and goodhertz, replacing with their own tech seems like a good reasonfairlyclose wrote: Sun Jun 05, 2022 10:29 pmThey only bought the products in 2020polarsky wrote: Sun Jun 05, 2022 8:49 pm here's another video, morphing and vocoding is real time, the apple script is for batch processing, also new time-stretch algo in there, he says upgrade $99 for the bundle for owners of any of the previous aurchitect/audiofile engineering apps

200 years!
I like when people can make fun of themselves. He knows Zynaptiq are not known for keeping their launches. Next month? Ha. I believe it when I see it. 99 bucks for the bundle for previous owners is not a bad deal, though.

I'm not sure why anyone would buy anything that bad for any price.
I'm still aghast at Zynaptiq's fall. People here are forever railing against big companies like NI whose reputations are patchy, but Zynaptiq's story makes me sadder than any other. A small company who went from trailblazing innovation to vaporcrapware.

As long as Myriad is getting updates I'm all in. Never used Triumph more than a couple of minutes. Felt like I could do all it could in Live, quicker and easier. But I might be wrong about that.

Same. I don’t care about Triumph but I want Myriad.DrGonzo wrote: Mon Aug 08, 2022 11:27 am As long as Myriad is getting updates I'm all in. Never used Triumph more than a couple of minutes. Felt like I could do all it could in Live, quicker and easier. But I might be wrong about that.
And likewise I’m all in on this too. I’ve been wanting this far a long time.
I’m not looking innovation so much as I want OS compatibility. It’s a workhorse. It’s really all it ever was.
