Dialogue isolate from 8 to 9 was a huge leap so was dehum. I hope more ML based routines are optimised in 10, also integrated Dialogue match would be great, will see what is in the offer.

I beg to differ. With DI, there was a mild quality improvement while dialogue detection algorithm got completely screwed up. For a lot of material I have to use legacy. Waves Clarity VX pro is markedly better.

If they just point to the repair assistant for RX 10, I would suspect nothing new compared to RX 9. The assistant is simply putting a 6 repairs in one UI, don’t need an assistant for that…

iZotope like IK have weird upgrade options. I own Music Production Suite 4 which I bought late in the game, I got RX9 by a hair because of this.
So besides the small stuff they add in like BX plug ins, I will get Neutron 4, Ozone 10, and RX10 for $249. If I wait about a year it will come down to $149 or $199. They upgrade too often these days, but if you wait out for their upgrade sales 6 months to a year later it's not a bad deal.

They do say "While there are so many other new features included", but agreed as a first feature reveal it is deeply disappointing.Tj Shredder wrote: Sat Aug 13, 2022 4:04 pm If they just point to the repair assistant for RX 10, I would suspect nothing new compared to RX 9. I have RX 7 Standard, and I use it quite a lot. I can upgrade to RX 10 Standard for $99, and it's kind of tempting to own the latest version, but I really have no idea what advantages RX 10 Standard might offer over RX 7 Standard. iZotope seem to make only minimal changes between versions, and even though I'd be going from version 7 to 10, I'm not sure if there would be enough difference for me.
I really don't like the idea of buying software that no specs have been released for.

RX 8 brought some decent new toys. So 7 to 10 might be worth it…

Repair asistant sounds like another excuse to dodge universal ara support.

These are updated way too often, IMO hard to justify the upgrade if there's not a certain feature you simply have to have as a professional..

Yup- they are just small updates IMO and from most other software companies you would get a few of these free before a big update...iZotope were one of the first companies I started skipping a few updates to get value and anything really new (other than a facelift)
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

if there are no new features announced...weird.
