as well it should be, what an epic and public battle with breast cancer (like 30 years), imagine the people she touched and will continue to touch with her strength...she is a hero

Meh, plenty of people go through worse than she has. My best friend from school died after his third battle with Melanoma, leaving a 9 and an 11 year old without a father. The media never batted an eyelid.

there is no such thing as a comparison, there is no worse brand of suffering, but the fact is being more well known carries weight and she could give others hope. It has nothing to do with you BONES or your tough guy act you like play, we get it, showing remorse is weak, showing sorrow is weak, gotta keep up that image eh? Stay out of this thread please, some people here can actually appreciate her suffering. Let us who know word the empathy and can use it in an actual sentence talk...or not, but take the hate somewhere else.

I am shocked to know this sad sad news. ONJ is one of my fav female singers. Hopelessly Devoted To You, Xanadu, Magic, Physical, Sam..... Too many to mention. RIP to ONJ

That's what makes 'Sordid Lives' (that I linked to above) such a tonic. It's a shame more people are not aware, but homophobia still does reign supreme, despite what any talk talk might be talked.

What a sad loss. Takes me back to one of the cover bands I played in back in the 90s that did a set of Grease songs that drove the drunken college crowds wild. It was pretty cool to experience a bar packed to the gills with college kids singing along so loud that they drowned out our band. Lots of timeless classics from that movie and her entire career.
