One Synth Challenge #162: V-Station by Novation (Plan C Wins!)

Long time admirer of OSC (especially in the month with the less capable synth), first time submitter (thanks to Covid). This is my first finished piece in 25 years. Its old style music along my old style taste from DM to Skinny Puppy via Front 242.

I used

14 V-Station

and reverbs, EQs, one limiter and delays from Cubase (my DAW since 24).

V-Station is pretty badass. Someone mentioned "Hoover" earlier, and I just realized it can pwm a saw....so Hoover it does!! Nasty little synth.

Peter, you're making beautiful music, making great progress in programming, what's wrong? When someone has something wrong in OSC, we share it, discuss, joke, advise... like in a big family. You, as a spy, follow all the discussions and put the "dirty" ones under spotlights, and in another place. I don't understand this behavior.
Do you think we can't discuss someone's music? Or what is it like "behind the eyes"? I can openly say that I listened to WagTunes music and I think it's not very bad, it's interesting in places, but he doesn't seem to spend a lot of time on a single track, so he doesn't achieve very good quality.
You can show him this message if you want. He and I are just musicians with different views who don't know each other's.
Please stop stigmatizing the OSC community. At least half of the people here (including me) were not present at these history at all, but old-timers do not remember WagTunes every other day or only in a negative way.

Hey Peter -- that was me. Not bashing him - just stating the facts and recognizing what he brought to OSC a few years ago. He is a legend for his 2 hour productions and "open" attitude re: constructive criticism. I recall he also mentioned that he didn't need to listen to a song for more than 30 seconds in order to know if it was good and how to score it - a sure way to win friends at OSC. Also - nothing wrong with having some fun!

The song was created in Reaper and uses 17 instruments of the V-Station synthesizer. Additionally there are standard built-in effect plugins for equalizer, compressor and limiter.
