ah, seeing it i do remember him now, not from the show but he started turning up on buzzcocks and other comedy shows.

I think this is because the number of ‘celebrities’ massively expanded from the late nineties onwards with reality TV, gossip mags, more TV channels needing cheap filler content and the advent of social media.
