Any progression on a non-AVX version?PauliIndie wrote: Fri Jul 22, 2022 8:30 pm Great to hear this, Polac!
At the moment the plugin does not work with M1 Macs and older x64 CPUs without AVX2 instructions. I'll be implementing support for those in near future.

Hi, sorry for late reply! I haven't worked on Non-AVX version yet. I guess that could be done pretty quickly with the SIMDe library (https://github.com/simd-everywhere/simde) which I'm already using for the Mac ARM build.
I'm currently working on improving the synth engine (better filter behaviour for higher samplerates, fine tuning internal parameters etc). I'll release an updated version in next two weeks or so, then I'll work on the UI and the non-AVX build.
Btw People who have tried WM already - Are you still using it and what have you created? I'm curious about this!

I, too, would very much like a non-AVX version.PauliIndie wrote: Wed Sep 14, 2022 5:06 pm[...]

Wave Manuel was running fine in Logic for a few days and then it broke. I re-installed and made Logic re-evaluate it, but it's just not happening.
This the error given from Plugin Manager:

FATAL ERROR: OpenAComponent: result: -1,0xFFFFFFFF

I've heard of this happening to other Mac users too. This is probably related to my current work with Wave Manuel installer (with proper code signing and notarization) and now Apple somehow has disabled the old version which people are using. I'm really sorry about this, when I get the installer released this should not happen anymore.onerob wrote: Tue Sep 20, 2022 5:22 pm Wave Manuel was running fine in Logic for a few days and then it broke. Someone got it working by using "codesign" command in the terminal to manually sign WaveManuel.component. You could try that too but I'm working to release the Mac installer version later this week (my #1 priority now with this!).

Wave Manuel 1.0.8 for Mac released today! Get it from https://wavemanuel.io !
Basically the same as version 1.0.6 but now with a properly signed installer. It's an emergency update since the previous version stopped working
Also there's a mailing list for Wave Manuel now, subscribe to find out what's happening! Cheers!

Just gave it a spin. What a nice gem. Its so inviting to dial in some sounds. For a long time I tried a new synth and did not immediately walk through another collection of preset sounds, but instead created immediately lively/lovely sounds and didn’t miss a manual at all…PauliIndie wrote: Wed Sep 21, 2022 4:22 pm Wave Manuel 1.0.8 for Mac released today! One thing though which is important, is: pitch bend does not seem to work.
And of course for us MPE enthusiasts, MPE would be gorgeous, it has so much potential for expressive playing. And along those lines a CLAP version that allows external per voice modulation would be heaven. Maybe Fullbucket could help you, he seems to know how to get into CLAP…

Testing further, it works, but only listens to Channel 1!Tj Shredder wrote: Thu Sep 22, 2022 10:05 am One thing though which is important, is: pitch bend does not seem to work.

Hmm, what's your setup? Pitch bend works for me. I haven't tried other channels besides 1.Tj Shredder wrote: Thu Sep 22, 2022 6:11 pmTesting further, it works, but only listens to Channel 1!Tj Shredder wrote: Thu Sep 22, 2022 10:05 am One thing though which is important, is: pitch bend does not seem to work.
And yes, I'm looking into MPE and I'm interested in supporting it

My setup is Bitwig and Mojave, and as Bitwig first turns the pitch bend of my Linnstrument into an expression and then I have to set it to MPE which excludes Channel 1, the conclusion is, it simply does not listen to other channels. When playing my centuries old CBX keyboard, it does do the bend…
I can test with a generic script, (that does not use expressions) and I could also see if the au version has the same problem in Mainstage…
I recall once I came across the same problem with another plugin, but forgot which one it was. It might have been based on iPlug as well…
