We managed to publish everything a week earlier than we intended. Sorry for the confusion :)

It's been a very busy few months.

Surprised they havent implemented an oscilloscope, unless they did and forgot to mention it in the changelog.

It's there, if you know where to look. But random passersby won't find it. The news feed on deviousmachines in general is really strange. Some of it is locked, and other news like this one is unlisted. Why hide news at all?

There's two and a half of us working at Devious Machines most of the time and the news section of the website hasn't been given a lot of our attention. We are about to do a bit of dramatic refresh of it all though.

It's actually a little bit tricky to know which signal to show in the oscilloscope view. Is it the output of the current effect? The master output? I'll put it on a list to look at again. Maybe the right solution will pop out!

Orange Vocoder
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

Perhaps showing the incoming pre-processed audio--ideally in a way that could be set to freeze to the most recent beat, bar, or whatever period the GUI is displaying--makes the most sense? This would help, for example, to determine where you might want to place peaks and dips of modulation curves in relation to transients.
