Do not buy plugins in 2022 without AI.
Let the plugins make all decisions and do not waste time on focusing too much on your mix or having to move your hand with your mouse too much, having to make decisions. Let AI do it all, trust in your plugin dev, the plugin dev has made decisions on your mix before he has even listened to your mix, well, he programmed his idea of proper plugin settings for YOUR mix, well, more or less presets in AI disguise, believe in your dev, believe in AI, AI is the future in the now, your friend, your time saver!

Back in the day people used horses to travel, who still uses horses today?
AI is the spacecraft to explore the universe of music production today!
Leave your horse in the stable
and use AI to move forward!

Black Rooster also has a good Opto, the VLA-2A Mark II.

He who would buy thread, must first learn how to sew.

If doing IDM, avoid those vintage comps. Most of them not working well with the style. It's way better to work with digital comps. Well, the Distressor emulations are probably the only exception.

I agree. Distressor is used a lot her, I use Mike-E from Softube. What I think also works well for EDM is Elysia, Vertigo & SSL. API 2500 also.

Oh yes, The PA SBC one is good or the DMG Track Comp2 model. Waves too but I'd put these over two over it.

Aiynzahev wrote: Sat Aug 20, 2022 5:33 pm Hi all can we have a thread were we touch base with reality a little? I have too many plugins on my radar right now!

Case in point the Softube CL-1b is on sale and I have wanted that for a very long time. Matter of fact talk me about of that and the upcoming Weiss bundle sale.
