Got the email, and it’s what I expectedaMUSEd wrote: Wed Aug 03, 2022 5:35 amI got it to and have the full v5 so I'm hoping they are laying the ground for v6 (and that the upgrade price is not too much)elxsound wrote: Mon Aug 01, 2022 3:35 pmThat’s what seem likely to me too.audio/fault wrote: Mon Aug 01, 2022 4:57 amgot the mail, too. sounds more like an upgrade to the full v5. i love my soundtoys Bit having the full bundle for years, it’s a little annyoing to constantly get sales-mails about single plugins or an upgrade to the bundle. their crm-should know better…elxsound wrote: Mon Aug 01, 2022 3:18 am Just got my email and am prepped for the whatever comes next.
Not sure what to hope for, or is it just a 50% off upgrades to v5?
I’ll still use these no matter what happens or doesn’t happen.
Well, if we’re right and there’s no v6, or upgrade with new features, get the popcorn ready and return to this the thread.![]()
I still hope this is like you say, groundwork towards a v6.

I was going to say, I only have Crystalizer and LittleAlterboy, but they offer a sweet 50% upgrade price for the entire Soundtoys library. $199 to upgrade to full v5.3 seems nice, but isn't v6 abotu to drop, probably with an upgrade cost. Im guessing combining the 2 prices would add up to same or more (or just under) the cost of buying the full thing without a sale. Wouldn't' it? Are they going to do the same thing Arturia does? Its temping but not sure its wise. Please correct me if im wrong.

There's no telling when Soundtoys will have a v6, but I wouldn't expect it anytime soon.Ghost_Train wrote: Sun Aug 21, 2022 5:44 pm I was going to say, I only have Crystalizer and LittleAlterboy, but they offer a sweet 50% upgrade price for the entire Soundtoys library. $199 to upgrade to full v5.3 seems nice, but isn't v6 abotu to drop, probably with an upgrade cost. They're not like Arturia, in the sense they don't have annual releases, and their products are not coupled with FOMO intro-pricing.
If you can buy cheap, it's just a matter of being happy with what you purchased. Updates are slow, but at least for me, the products are very stable.

I don't think of highly as them as I used to. Waited for answer to my support ticket for literally like 3 weeks and nothing. Tried again about 3 days ago and still no reply. Pretty bad really.

Shown at the Soundtoys Berklee seminar thing pre-covid times. I think they spoke about using FIRs for it, but in a new way.
