Some of my favourite plugins, to get the creative juices going, are the ones that don't make a sound 'better' (compressors, EQ, etc.), but the ones that make a sound radically 'different'. Some of these include:
- FL's Grossbeat, by slowing time down by half
- FL's Pitch Shifter, going up or down an octave to introduce cool artifacts
- KHs Tapestop, to stop... tapes.

I'm always on the lookout for other cool mangling tools, but haven't found much, what are your favourites?

Since when does a thread need to be creative? Also the suggested thread has a too broad scope for me to be useful + the op should take the time and format the suggestions. I'm not looking to make a YouTube vid, genuinely looking out for plugins as described above.

I use BabyAudio Crystalline reverb as it's unique GUI let me explore reverb effects I wouldn't have come across in Valhalla.

While Valhalla and other effects can produce what Crystalline does, it's not as intuitive, while Baby Audio is.

I get better more original verbs with less fuss.
